Your ticket also says the game was yesterday, so certainly no need to rush, you’ve missed it!

Re: Kick off time today?
It's imagining your initial reaction when you realised the kick off time in Stoke, the fact you are still in Burnley at 11.20 and the mad dash you have to come, from which I get a perverse sense of amusement. Oh, and that you missed it had the wrong date printed on your ticket also.
Funny when it happens to someone else. Good luck, hope you get there on time.

Re: Kick off time today?
We were once late setting off for Stoke. 1.30 for a 3pm kick off after one of the lads messed about. There had been a bad smash on the M6 and we never even got near Warrington by 3pm.
Loads of Clarets got there for half time and we drew 2-2.
Andy Payton bagged.

Went by train to that game so not caught up in traffic. During 1999/00 promotion season.Quickenthetempo wrote:We were once late setting off for Stoke. 1.30 for a 3pm kick off after one of the lads messed about. There had been a bad smash on the M6 and we never even got near Warrington by 3pm.

Very strange game, away end was probably only half full at the start of the game and the team didn't turn up until half time either.
Payton bagged a penalty after Kavanagh had been in his ear before taking it. Kavanagh then missed one at the death.

On the subject of missing matches a few years ago we went to Stockport to watch the Clarets in an early season game but it had been moved to the Turf

This thread would of been a classic if you had a GPS tracker in your car akin to the flight radar app.
Good luck Cricketfield stay safe.
