Maybe Sid's a bit bitter after Jay scored twice at Anfield in the FA Cup?

I'm fully aware of what I said - and it is part the reason but would not be relevant at all if I did not think he was good enough. You have said that many people want Jay back just because he is local....when in fact zero people want him back because just for this reason.

As for the money why on earth would I need to worry about that ?

You really can be a bit weird at times.
You clearly don't read what I write so this is fairly pointless.

I've said it's one of the contributing reasons why people want him back I've never said it's the sole reason.
You've even said yourself it's a contributing reason, which I quoted and highlighted to make it easy for you yet you're still struggling with my point....

As for weird, HA ok no worse than many on here.

End of discussion for me, you won't read this comment properly either

Why's that?

I couldn't give a toss who he's scored against, it bothers idiots like you far more than me clearly.

You said you haven't seen him play much so you were asking fans on here if he's any good, did you not watch him stick 2 past your beloved Reds?

You can't even read your own comments properly.
Did you not say that "from the comments on here there is an over riding desire to have him back because he's local" ?

You do realise that "contributing" is not the same as "over riding" ?
Over riding means also means that people think that the fact he is local is more important than whether Jay is good enough.

And what i am saying (i`ve said a few times already but you really are struggling) is that nobody is saying that being local is more important than whether Jay is any good.....yet you are saying that there is an "over riding desire to have him back because he's local" which you have basically completely made up and as usual digging a big hole trying to defend yourself.

Sometimes it really is simpler to just apologise....or even edit your post so people do not notice the boll-ocks you made up !

Not my beloved reds.

Shouldn't you be supporting a team with a Portuguese manager?
You wanted Dyche fired for one after all...

Oh wait we can't mention that.

Who the chuff wants Rondon sid?

I’ve only seen his name posted on here 3 times......by you....... on this thread.

He’s a fat lump

Not sure what your angle is

“We shouldn’t sign him just cos he’s local”.

“No one is suggesting that”

“Yeah well, I’m not against signing him”

“He will cost too much!”

“Why do you care what he will cost?”

“Yeah well, I’m not against signing him”

I think it'd be great to have Jay back, and Matty James, Ollie Norwood or any player from the town - if Dyche thinks they're good enough. "One of our own" is a good thing. United have Lingard and Rashford, Liverpool have Alexander-Arnold, Spurs have Kane, it's good for the fans in getting behind them and it must help them as players. I really didn't think Jay was Dyche's type but if he is, and he stays fit, it'd be better than a normal signing.

As much as fans might be swayed, I'm sure Dyche isn't the type to spend the club's money making signings for romantic reasons. If he's a genuine target then it's a good sign for the way we want to play and I hope it happens.

Signing Jay would be an excellent signing ( in my
opinion ) as would any established premier league player.

I thought the signing of Jon Walters and Bardsly from Stoke were excellent signings as both were established premier league players.

They may not be world beaters but they strengthen the squad and get the club into the position we are now
( 7th ).
