Dull dull dull. Brighton are spoilers in every way possible. Niggly fouls, very physical, easy to ground. All in all it ruined the game from the first minute. We needed to stand up and be more physical ourselves though. Some proper end of the season performances in and amongst.

A very dull and boring game.
No drive, no guile, and no plan b.
Certainly highlighted the need for a number 10 who can play a killer ball, and a striker with pace that can turn the opposition around. We were far too predictable IMO.

We seem to struggle against these teams with big strapping centre halves, Brighton certainly did their homework, and headed their way to a point minimum.
It was obvious from the off they came for a point, and didn't need to sweat to get it.
Ryan was time wasting from the first minute.

Can't grumble at a point, least we didn't get beat.

Proper boring, and why keep hoofing it upfield every time to see it come straight back? Dunk is a very good defender in the air, and stopped most of our attacks. Wood and Barnes had nowt to feed off really and were outmuscled to an extent today. Brighton typically dirty and niggly. Hope them and their poncy set of glory supporting fans go straight back down to the Championship next year

Poor game and no body stands out as outstanding. Long was MoM. The midfield was woeful has was Tarks.

Tarks - 7 Main ball player out of defence
Ward - 5 Lost something on the attacking front
Cork - 6 Plenty of effort
Westwood - 7 as above
Joey - 7.5 some dangerous crosses
Lennon - 5 lacking confidence to take a man on
Wood- 5 but may be due to lack of service
Barnes - 5 Up against 2 strong centre backs
George - 5 lively but also reluctant to attack

Brighton were spoilers so a point is OK particularly when it all but clinches Europe. I hope next year we can keep the hoofball to a minimum.
Scares me the way we leave the left winger so much space.

Certainly our worst performance of the season and a very long 90 minutes.

We weren't good, but Brighton were worse. Not much of consolation, but there are some real dross in this division and some of it will stay up.

Defence were solid until in possession of the football.
Central midfield worked hard but were out numbered.
Wide men (who we needed to be on it today as they were so compact and dominant in the air) were well below par
Both forwards lacked guile (no surprise), had poor movement and were totally dominated in the air, but non were helped by woeful attacking service.

Pope - 7 not a foot wrong, little to do.
Lowton - 7 defensively great, offered nothing going forward
Long - 9 fantastic IMO
Tark - 8 not far behind Long but real sloppy on the ball.
Ward - 6 not his best game, not bad though just quiet offensively for a change.
Lennon - 4 needs a rocket up his ass, always threatens to beat a man but turns backwards and re-cycles it to a central midfielder.
JBG - 6 very good first half, anonymous 2nd.
Westwood 7 - very good again
Cork - 8 another really good display, absolutely everywhere.
Wood - 4 anonymous, ball didn't stick but given very little service.
Barnes - 5 won a few cheap free kicks and missed from 2 yards, apart from that wasn't really involved, the whole team not being at it offensively starved the strikers for long spells.

Was a poor scrappy game, dug in at times, scraped a point which turned out to be massive given other results. No complaints, maybe the players got wind of results going our way in the 2nd half then nerves kicked in because we weren't that bad in the first half.

Poor game with few chances and a lot of niggling. Bloody Brighton....

Pope 6 - totally redundant today. Could have set up a picnic table
Lowton 8 - involved in most of our best efforts from open play
Long 7 - good game. Very solid
Tarkowski 5 - defensively ok but not really tested and passing was shocking
Ward 6 - not really at his best
Lennon 5 - apart frpm an odd glimmer not really at the races
Cork 6 - good first half but poor second - slow
Westwood 7 - did pretty well
Gudmundson 7 - lots if energy and a threat
Wood 5 - didnt get going today
Barnes 7 - worked tirelessly and came close

Vokes 5 - offered little
Nkoudou 6 - fair

Poor game had and of season championship feel to it,however after our season who can knock them ? I'd have liked to have seen the ball on the ground more.

A poor showing against a fairly pedestrian BHA side who are clearly well manged and very well organised in our own image and thus no pushovers. We need more spark against a team like this when it appears some of our players have already broken up for the summer. Brighton actually finished way stronger and the last 20 minutes dominated us which was ridiculous tbh. They're not Man City for goodness sake. Nobody in their right mind begrudges us a lackluster day occasionally after the season we've had, but let's hope for better against Arse next week to send our mate Wenger off in style!

nice to see brighton haven't changed since the championship. still a set of spoilers who time waste and spoil the game from the first minute.

shame really as they can play a bit of football but they dragged us down to their level and it made for a dull, end of season game where they came for a point and got it.

we were the better side and had the better of the few chances but a draw was about right.

how we've not got one of the 3 blatant penalties we should have though, only roger east, the weakest of all referees, will know.

Possibly the most least entertaining game I've watched since the back end of last season - lots of players with at least half a mind on their holidays thinking they did the job in that 1st 10 minutes v Leicester. Tarky apparently trying to play himself out of the England squad.
