FAO All Burnley Programme collectors
I have been going thro a few programmes I have from years gone by and came across one which really should belong in someones collection.
So before you read on I don't want any money for this, I'm just happy to give it to someone who collects Burnley Football programmes.
The very first 'Claret & Blue' programme was issued as the programme for Burnley v Liverpool - August 1970/71 season for the pricey sum of 1 shilling and has Volume 1 Issue 1 on the top. - I have this programme.
Now the one that might interest collectors is I have the printers proof for this programme which was approved by Mr Lord, and was the footprint for programmes of that season and a few seasons following. Its exactly as the above, one or two pages have been changed and there is no team list, but the footballer on the front is the same. I'm not going to say who it is, as collectors of BFC programmes will know.
I'm going to the Bournemouth game so happy to meet up.
I just want it to go to a true collector of BFC programmes.
I'm willing to post pics if anyone wants to see.
If anyone is interested post a reply

Re: FAO All Burnley Programme collectors
I know someone who will take it if I can have first reserve?
Edit - person is extreamly interested, so would be more than happy to add to an already fantastic collection.

Re: FAO All Burnley Programme collectors
I loved that design as I have most of them.
I was looking through my collection the other day and had a quick look at the "Orient game" one.
Now that has to be not just our most poorly designed prog of all time but one of football's worst ever.
It looks like a bored junior school kid's done the artwork.

Last week on BBC Sport there was a man from Newcastle on a video with half a million programs. He said that there had been an interest in Burnley this season. I felt so proud. Great isn't it?
