Another win for the mighty Colne! Two wins out of three, this season. Who'd a thowt.

Anyone know when they make the secind round draw? At a meeting during the week, or at a match tomorrow perhaps? The next round is three weeks today, Saturday 26th May.

The 'House were back in form with a comprehesive win against Haslingden in tropical conditions down at Liverpool Road this afternoon.

Home professional, Erasmus, batted most of the Lowerhouse innings and compiled a well made century.

Went to Lowerhouse today. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The Lees beer though is dreadful compared to moorhouses. And the moretti’s gone too. Only slight down point on a good day.

Liaquat, the bowler they've signed from Burnley, took 6/24.

It is not so long ago that it would be impossible to get a real ale in a cricket club. However, I'm not too keen on the Manchester Pale Ale as it is overhopped and too citrusy. The standard bitter is excellent though.

Only had the Manchester pale ale and agree entirely with your review. Will try the other tomorrow.

Despite heatwave warnings on social media it wasn't quite like that in the second inings.
