Billy big balls fert white hart "triffic" player then there's the ones that blow there own trumpet. I'm watching a fifth tier play off and the standard is garbage.so what constitutes a good level?

Not saying you’re wrong but having a red card in first minute would change game plan at any level

I'm watching Lincoln v Exeter, one team trying to play footy the other not - I'll let you work out who's doing what

If there's a game plan it will be a second half one. It was nice to see tranmere concede on 53 minutes though :D

I hope Exeter go through, Lincoln are a dirty underhand outfit.
Whoever goes through, I hope Notts Co go up anyway

I used to play 5-a-side in Leeds and played against some unbelievable players, who apparently played "semi-pro".

Always thought it was scary how much better these lads were than us and then how much better pros must be, even in the 3rd and 4th tiers, then how much better again they must be in the top two tiers and internationals.

We also played against Lee Sharpe who wasn't as good as some of these other lads.

We have a couple of ex 4th tier pros playing walking football where I play. Their ball retention and situational awareness is way above any of the rest of us. Their movement and flexibility is what brings them down to our level for the most part. Still very difficult to defend against though.

You can't say that about the standard, after all, the game is soooooo much better these days than it ever was.
So much so, that there are lads playing in the Northern League up here and getting a tidy sum for doing so, believe me, twenty years ago they would have struggled to get a game on Sunday morning, never mind getting paid for playing.

The knowledge is the key at every level. If you know your direct is better than you he will be, if he knows it you are in deep doodoo.
Even this season we have had occasions where our widemen will not take on their FB because they know they haven’t got the beating of them and our MFers have been bullied by the likes of Dembele and Sissoko.
This is why, for all the fuss posters make on here, SD knows best. He sees them train every day and knows how their form is going plus he has the science stats for their fitness levels.
