I almost created one Indigo, but I'm not sure I'll bother watching it this year. Our entry is average - and that's me being kind. I've not actually heard any of the others. Have you heard any decent ones?

I haven't even heard our entry! I'm going into this one not having heard any of the songs, knowing who is the favourite etc. Might me more interesting that way :D

I was genuinely annoyed at last year's competition when that terribly dull Portuguese entry won. Hoping something completely crazy and cheesy wins this year.

I've just listened to Cyprus and it's 'meh' and Israel's is just plain strange. So strange and pretty crap, that it could win.

Not allowed to turn over until BGT has finished. We are on at 9 o clock apparently so might sneak a look then.

Lithuania on next. A nice song, good voice and she's pretty, which always helps.

No way, I like music & am listening to some cds.
To some extent I can understand people watching this show for the glitz and drama but the music is the pits.

As pointed out, Lithuania was on perhaps a bit too early to win. A nice tune though. France's is decent, too.

Few dull songs so far. I'm looking for more cheese. I'd also prefer if countries sang in their own languages. Always find that more interesting.

Just some guy who crashed the stage and grabbed the mic off the singer. Not sure what he tried to say tbh.

This German entry rings a bell. Not sure where I'd have heard it before. Maybe it sounds similar to another song.

It's being sung by Mick Hucknall and Rebecca Brooks' secret child.

Ireland (24) is decent, but not sure why they felt the need for it to be about two blokes in love. It just shouts out to me as a plan to cause conversation and not because of the song. I'm only saying what a lot of people will be thinking.

Not really watching it but it's on in the background. I stopped what I was doing to listen to Lithuania. It has really caught my fancy. Also liked Albania. UK completely passed me by. I didn't know it had been on until I heard all the cheering at the end :-)

Maybe they're hoping that one day people won't feel the need to talk about the genders of those who song happen to be about.
