Just seen the tweet.

What an unlucky lad.

He'll be fine and all but can't be very nice for him

That's disappointing for him.
Hope he'll be ok for our Euro trip!

I don't think he's 28 though, as the club have put in their statement.

I hope no one drops out now, that would only make the pull even more butter.

It’s done as a day surgery so will be in and out. Usually key hole these days

No heavy lifting for 6 weeks is the usual advice

The worry is if it’s an inquinal hernia, which it usually is, the chances are the other side will go within the next few years. Hopefully will happen preseason, unless he’s left

Might explain his obvious discomfort in the last few games of the season.

More problems in our centre of defence, should be sorted by pre season though.

I agree 100% with Cuban. Maybe those 'not good enough for Liverpool' critics might wish to reconsider their judgement which also seemed to be based on the fact that he was obviously struggling in the final few games of the season when he tended to grab hold of his opponents when they went past him. Now you can work out why he was short of his usual burst of speed off the mark, though not saying that he's a clone of Usain!!

Better now than miss pre season. However, was hoping one of the others would need such an up, to give to his chance.

As a Burnley fan I would not wish to deprive the lad the chance the opportunity to compete at the highest level. However this may take him off the market and means he is ours for another year.

I had my second op on the 10th April and am feeling fine. My other side was done in Dec 2011. I had mesh implants on both occasions not keyhole as the surgeon recommended that for a more permanent repair, the mesh was better. So far so good :)
