The greatest soap villain to ever grace our screens closely followed by Richard Hillman.

Really enjoyed his reign of terror on the cobbles and will be sad to see it all come to an end.

Brilliant actor.

I'd include dirty den, but he's not acting. Really is a nasty character.

Usually the best villain goes to somebody in EastEnders who isn't actually a villain but just portrays a strong cockney accent and therefore comes across as such.

The guy that plays Pat Phelan is a tremendous actor, he deserves any awards that may come his way

Half expected one of his eyes to flicker open as they were zipping up the body bag.

The rule in soapland is if you see a body they are brown bread so Pat shouldn't be seen on the cobbles again.

The storyline has been a bit far fetched and drawn out way too long but Connor Mcyintre has played the character superbly.

Vintage Corrie in the afternoons on ITV3. The net is closing in on Alan Bradley.

Ena and Else, the Hairnet v the Beehive.
And poor old Albert and Minnie looking worried.
There was stuff going off in that snug that kids shouldn't have seen.

Soaps are too far fetched and there are too many episodes each week.
Between Emerdale and Corrie there's a murder every week.
In the golden days of Corrie it was pretty much a sit-com, lots of humerus storylines and characters.
They could stretch out a storyline like "Minnie Caldwell's cat's got flees" for a month.

And that was always the beauty of Corrie. Even during its darkest story lines there was always humour coming into it from somewhere.

There was a link to the past a couple of weeks ago from the dotty Flora who is currently sharing the flat with Adam & Daniel. She was in the Rovers with two friends and they ordered milk stouts (the preferred drink of Ena Sharples, Minnie Caldwell & Martha Longhurst). When you watched them it was if they were all taking on a modern role of one of those old characters.

Phelan has acted the part brilliantly, but the storyline has got too ridiculous at times. It needs those storylines but it simply has to have its humour. There are enough good comedy characters in the programme to more than give it that. And I do miss Norris.

He's hardly had a storyline in years. He's a spare part, moving from house to house.

Connor Mcintyre just won villain of the year at the British Soap Awards, quite rightly well deserved.

His competition was bloody awful, but regardless, he played a brilliant role.

I remember being on Turf circa 1989 and after a bad foul by an opposition player on a Burnley player (sorry, I was 16 and can`t remember who)
The Burnley fans chanted "You`re worse than Alan Bradley!"
