Kieran Trippier
Re: Kieran Trippier
"I suspect Tripps was one of those kids who played football out on the streets everyday, even when his mates weren't coming out because it was raining or too cold. Football runs through his veins. Terrific lad."
I've always thought that too. The sort of lad who would play consecutive 90 minute (or two-hour) matches until he passed out due to fatigue.
I thought Cahill stood a good chance of playing for England but I had my doubts about Tripps above all due to his defending. But the current England formation takes less pressure of him in terms of defence.

Almost gave the game away there.
Re: Kieran Trippier
Seeing him in tears at the end powerless to play was bloody moving. The game had already been lost but it was unfair on Tripps. Too cruel.

Yes everyone's really bothered about haircuts right now. The Scottish National team has been 'EMBARRASSING' for years. Now toodle pip and go and go and enjoy some deep fried mars bars for your supper.Millertime v1.7 wrote:I was looking at his hair. That fringe. EMBARRASSING.

There's nothing "chavy" or "embarrassing" about it. It's his f****** hair. Is that ok with you?
Not a single one of your country men, not a single one. Are good enough to lace the boots of the lad from Bury, who's come from humble beginnings. To play on a world stage and stand out from his peers, as an honest, heart on his sleeve, 100%, never say die, professional, and one of the best the best crossers of a ball this island has produced in the last 20 years.
Now if we're taking about "explanations Keiron mate" why not try and explain why the **** your spending valuable time, time that you could be spending on your own, never won **** all, and never will do, 3rd rate national football team, message board. Instead of coming on another clubs message board trying to pick holes in one of our former players appearance?
Is that all you've got? Is that what you've been reduced to?
If you're so confident in your own appearance. Why not post a picture of yourself? Let's have a look at you and the, know doubt, 10 out of 10, A list, Hollywood film star hair?
Let's have a look at "that fringe" of yours. Frightened it'll be "EMBARRASSING"?

Trippier is a very decent bloke and a fine footballer. Couldn't give a rats arse if he had the worst mullet on the planet .Millertime will never see such talent play for his team. Now where's the photo you pathetic troll ...

Lads, I'm not questioning his skill, but that fringe is SHOCKING
Ringo n Blackrod, in fairness you are a pair of muppets not fit to shine my boots. Rod, you especially are a drama queen befitting of Love Island.
Sort yourself out, bud

Re: Kieran Trippier
Doest a fringe need to fall down over the forehead? I wouldn’t say that, for example, a black man with an Afro had a fringe.

england's player of the tournament by a mile, trippier.
Re: Kieran Trippier
Strongly agree. Quality goal to top off consistently excellent performances. I've lost count of the number of times over the last few weeks I've told friends, colleagues, strangers "he played for Burnley".quoonbeatz wrote:england's player of the tournament by a mile, trippier.

Pretty much showed the rest of the World what we all ready suspected 4 years ago. The lad is world class and is going to soon be a much sought after top, top player for the big boys of club football.

We saw the very best of him in the first half and the not quite so good in the second, which is why I would say he is a very good international footballer but not quite world class

As for Tripps he’s been brilliant. Best England player. Must have a great chance of making the World Cup Team of the tournament they pick at the end....which would be a great accolade.
Tripps will be remembered for ever by England fans for this World Cup.....not bad for someone we picked up on virtually a free transfer !!

I'm afraid I have to agree with Millertime regarding Kieran's haircut. However he seems like a nice lad and has had an excellent tournament.

Our best player but not by a mile. Henderson and Pickford also had very good tournaments. So too the back 3, although ironically, our defence was better when attacking than when they were defending.

They needed Tarka & Mee in there to shore up the defensive attributes.DustyBawls wrote:Our best player but not by a mile. Henderson and Pickford also had very good tournaments. So too the back 3, although ironically, our defence was better when attacking than when they were defending.
