What, if Peter Crouch wasn't a comedian?

The talentless prick that is Richard Adeyode. To call him a comedian is an insult to any funny guy who treads the boards. If Adeyode ever appears on a programme I like, it's the off button for me.

He's never come across to me as funny joke wise, but I think he's good at presenting the Crystal Maze. So a better presenter than comedian.

Another vote for Miranda Hart. Don't think I've ever met anyone who thinks she's remotely funny. As Alan Partridge would say, she's on the BBC gravy train!

I didn't know Brand and Corden were supposed to be comedians they are so unfunny. 2 of the most irritating people to ever appear on tv. Jack Whitehall is seriously unfunny.

Most comedians today are in a race to use the most expletives and curse words. It started with the likes of Eddie Murphy and other black comedians. Bring back Bob Hope. HE was truly funny.

Omid Djalili is another one who is not in the least bit funny, yet the networks seem to have a totally unwarranted love affair with him. If I was a cynical type.....

I agree with pretty much all of the names listed. I’d add Alexi Sayle to the list who just appears to be someone that was just fortunate to land a part (playing his own stupid routines) on what became a cult sitcom.

you must have been p***** then,
if you liked routines about old edna's bloomers and her budgie. He was ok in a pub backroom if you were a supply teacher who drank 1/2 pints of real ale.

Jimmy Carr
Frankie Boyle
Ricky Gervais
And any other ‘comedian’ who thinks it’s funny to poke fun at anybody with a disability just to get a cheap laugh.

When John Bishop is talking I always get the impression that the next word is going to be physically painful for him to say. Like he has to force each word out.

If somebody did Eddie Murphy's material from the 1980s today they would probably be blacklisted from TV and it'd be the end of their career, particularly the bits about homosexuality. That being said he was an incredibly funny bloke, despite some of his material not ageing well at all.

Comedians I don't find funny probably outnumber the ones I do find funny by a ratio of around 10-1. Shout outs to Russell Howard, Jon Bishop and James Corden though, and also Gina Yashere.

This thread just goes to show how subjective comedy is.
One man's hilarious ugly-laughing material is another man's irritating borefest.

I always hated Corden and didn't watch 2 pints because of what I thought it was.
I eventually watched it a year or two back and it was great. I missed out for a long time there. He wrote that, so credit has to go to him for it.
He's obviously since shown himself as a shameless brown noser, second only to Piers Morgan, but 2 pints was good.

Bill Bailey. Watched him TV stand up, honestly did not even smile once. I just don't get how these people get paid.
