Re: Relegation Dark Horses.
I can confirm, non of those 3 will be relegated and quite frankly I don't see how you could chose any of those sides to be relegated instead of opting for the easy choices like Brighton, Newcastle, and Huddersfield.

How? I reckon 1 of the 3 will drop, and all 3 will struggle.KRBFC wrote:I can confirm, non of those 3 will be relegated.
My reasoning with west ham and Everton is its been coming for a while ala Aston villa.. And the reason with Burnley is Europa as I've stated.

It's tough to know who's going down.
Few expected WBA to collapse like they did, especially with Pulis in charge to begin with.
Same at Stoke, who hadn't finished lower than 14th since they'd been promoted to the PL.

I think its naive to expect that you'll keep getting better, and Europa, starting the season early will take a toll on the players.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote:It's tough to know who's going down.

Re: Relegation Dark Horses.
It will be a struggle to survive, initially, I suspect but there are so many variables, fine margins, that could tip our fortunes either way.
As Frank Sinclair argued, our stats weren't brilliant last season and quite a few tight results went our way. Perhaps they won't this coming season.
Having said that, there were several occasions where we wee quite clearly robbed or just downright careless so let's hope we have the luck and stay as injury-free as possible.
I always tend to be a little more on the pessimistic side, that comes from past experience , I guess.
At least I'm a Claret.........

I think anyone outside the top 6 could go down. Huddersfield would be my banker. Cardiff likely. After that one from 12. Would love a West Ham or Everton to be involved if only for the wailing and gnashing of teeth it would bring.

It's funny how Rovers fans were nowhere to be seen on any message board until just a few games ago. Fairweather. Some good teams in the Championship next year so Rovers could be dark horses for the drop and worth a few quid.

We may not get better but relegated? Really? How does the club become a shambles and leaderless with the personnel we have? A few years ago I'd never have thought I'd say this, but I hope we draw Rovers in the cup. Obviously, with all our commitments, it would be a "B" team put out, but I'm pretty confident that our "B" team would sort out your mob with plenty to spare.Graham25goals wrote:I think its naive to expect that you'll keep getting better, and Europa, starting the season early will take a toll on the players.

So you're predicting that Burnley will have a good long run in the Europa league then? [That's good].Graham25goals wrote:How? I reckon 1 of the 3 will drop, and all 3 will struggle.
. And the reason with Burnley is Europa as I've stated.
(It can't have much influence on our league form if we are eliminated at the early stages).

It's almost like you don't want people to oppose what you're saying.
Trying to be some sort of facist dictator?
Re: Relegation Dark Horses.
For me it's 3 from anyone outside the top 6. There are no guarantees, a bad start and anyone could be down there but it's the teams that fail to score who tend to get dragged in. I can see why Huddersfield have been mentioned as they were the lowest scoring team to survive.

With your proclaimed superior intelligence to just about everyone on here and having that knowledge that it is the "exact same style as recently banned users" then it won't be too hard to name and prove which banned users these are/were with examples will it, or is the truth you are a liar and a hypocrite who runs to the mods when you get a bit back.

Re: Relegation Dark Horses.
I suggest to write a stern letter to Sean Dyche and the board demanding that we resign from the Europa to 'concentrate on the league'. After all survival in the PL is the be-all and end-all of football isn't it? It doesn't matter about variety and the possibility that we might actually do well.Graham25goals wrote:How? Burnley FC are NOT going to be affected one iota by being in Europe other than adding a much needed and interesting string to their bow. If we struggle because of it then what the hell are we playing for?
