This thread has been resurrected from the beginning of June. Get a grip, IT. The new football season is virtually underway.

You already know it's going to be inaccurate, it's the Daily Mail...
Unless you just enjoy self-flagellation, so to speak?

Re: Daily Mail
Just because i read something shitting on the Mail doesn't mean I automatically believe it. I find it interesting how the Daily Mail can be respected by millions of people while being this kind of **** at doing journalism.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote:You already know it's going to be inaccurate, it's the Daily Mail...

It also interests me how you lot are instinctively criticising me for mentioning it but not the Daily Mail for actually doing it. It's as if to you lot the people who are talking about the problem are the problem.

Amazes me how many of the older generation seem to read that rag and believe what it says. My workplace is full of them. Although like The Sun it seems mostly to be bought because of the sports pages which are better than other papers. Then the filth they peddle gets read after but they believe it

We know what they do, which is why it's taken with a large pinch of salt.Imploding Turtle wrote:Just because i read something shitting on the Mail doesn't mean I automatically believe it. It's the most read English online news outlet in the world though isn't it?
Despite it being full of inaccuracies.

I have to say a couple of us at work do read the online version. Not the articles...we skip that and go straight to the comments section. Fascinating reading every timeGodIsADeeJay81 wrote:We know what they do, which is why it's taken with a large pinch of salt.
