That was a very special decade to be a Claret as Harry Potts produced the second of two great teams to feature in Europe. Andy celebrated the birth of his daughter by scoring a hat-trick on the Turf in the second leg against Lausanne.
A vivid recollection for me was someone from the Evening Star knocking on our door to tell me I'd won two tickets to sit in the old Brunshaw Road Stand for the second leg which we duly won 5-0.
