Tyson Fury
Re: Tyson Fury
Would have been a better test if he’d have fought mr Mike Tyson.

Enormous flabby man tends off 6'2" dwarf and then hits him twice.
The end.
The end.

What's your view on the fight at the weekend....Is it worth the £20 BT are asking? I'm tempted tbh.JohnMac wrote:The only laugh is at the mugs who paid to watch.

If you really want to watch it and can't be bothered to go out or look for a stream then yes it is probably worth it. Otherwise probably not.tim_noone wrote:What's your view on the fight at the weekend....Is it worth the £20 BT are asking? I'm tempted tbh.

Ah bless. Something you don't like? Usually you are such a happy go lucky carefree kind of a guy with nothing but nice positive things to say.Wile E Coyote wrote:modern boxing is dross, this is another **** gathering too, yob fans, betting, and big mouthed nobodies built up by **** media outlets.

Who’s anywhere near 6.2’’?
Re: Tyson Fury
Tbf to WEC he has a point. Boxing/Darts are just a start for a night out for “lads” these days. Y’know the types turn up to gigs to hear 1 song and talk through the rest types. Just so they can say they were there.

Re: Tyson Fury
Im sure proper boxing fans would rather watch it with 5,000 other fans rather than 15,000 there to get ******. Same with bands etcQuickenthetempo wrote:The kind of people that make it financially viable to put these events on ?

Re: Tyson Fury
I have to admit I genuinely laughed out loud when he put that video on Instagram in which he called Wilder a "lanky dosser"RingoMcCartney wrote:Anybody bringing the retro insult, "dosser" back in the pre fight build up, is oreight by me......

Re: Tyson Fury
Maybe so, but would they rather pay 3x as much or should the performers accept 3x less?Dyched wrote:Im sure proper boxing fans would rather watch it with 5,000 other fans rather than 15,000 there to get ******. Same with bands etc

Re: Tyson Fury
Better fight in prospect but I still wouldn't pay to watch Tyson Fury.tim_noone wrote:What's your view on the fight at the weekend....Is it worth the £20 BT are asking? I'm tempted tbh.
I heard someone today saying he looks 'ripped' and 'wedge shaped' having lost 10 stone in a year.
The price to pay for that may become apparent from about round 3 or 4.
Edit
This is USA v GB so I want him to win but think he will be stopped around in 6 or 7 unless he can actually land some proper punches and not the powder puff type I have only ever seen him land aside from the fight against Vlad.

Re: Tyson Fury
Never really understood the beef people have with Tyson Fury. You don’t get 19 ko’s out of 27 wins and no losses (that’s NO losses!) with “powder puff punches”!
Yes his fights are scrappy and disjointed but that’s coz of his unique style in a way. Surely that’s a positive though?
It’ll be close tomorrow. Wilders got one hell of a punch. But as Fury says about himself, it’s easy to beat him, just knock him out- but no ones been able to do that yet. How many 30+ year old heavyweights have been able to say that?
