Tyson Fury

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Sat Jun 09, 2018 10:18 pm

Anyone watching?

The last fight on the undercard Flanagan and Hooker a true war. What a fight. A draw would be fair.

When every rounds so close it's easy for the score to range so widely. I thought hooker just had it and got Fury in round 2 . A bit of showboating and grandstanding then smack him down in the second

Fyry on now. Albanians are notoriously tough. Fury has been out a while and will want a few rounds. So im gonna say fury in the 6th.

Thank fk that wasnt pay per view.

In the shape he is in now. With that approach he will get knocked out by Bellew never mind Joshua or Wilder!

Wouldnt be surprised if Klitchscko came back to do him.

What a waste of time.

Fans should be refunded for those tickets that was a disgrace and probably pre planned with how late the fight was announced.

Ungainly, no footwork, overweight with shorts pulled up to hide his enormous belly and hand speed to match a tai chi student.
Roy Shaw would rip him to pieces and he is in his 70's.

I'm no boxing savvy but **** me... Tyson is holding him, the guys swinging and he's still about 6 inches away...

Theres no way on earth he could even HIT him if he wanted to.

What's that all about?

A few people I know say the broadband is great? but the sport coverage is crap, the premier league matches commentary and analysis isn't a patch on sky.

In 2 years if it running I've not actually needed to invest the £20 a month extra as Burnley haven't been on, I may need to take the plunge next year for Europa, however I may just go the pub, for the away games I can't make.

To be honest Ii dont care for the pundits or analysis. Just the quality and number of games and leagues.

Anyone who was expecting anything other than the shambles we saw there, is as clueless about boxing as Tyson Fury is. He's not a fighter. Doesn't seem interested in fighting. He brings the sport into disrepute, just by turning up.

In case you were wondering, no, i'm not a fan.

What did you expect?

His first opponent for his comeback was always going to be handpicked and rightly so. He's not stupid enough to face anyone decent and despite the bravado he will know it's going to take time.

He's lost eight stone on his comeback trail and turned his life around form drugs, depression and almost killing himself and deserves credit for that. He seems to of come out of the depths of despair a much better person too but if you look at his recent interviews and YT clips he certainly looks to have some kind of bipolar disorder because you never know which personality he's going to show at any given minute never mind day!

It will be at least another year before he get's his body and mind in shape to take on the big boys and then we will find out if the recent years of abusing his body has took it's toll or not but even at his best he's never been an entertainer in the ring like he is out of it!
