Very hard to pick. Hull away was fantastic. As was Liverpool at home. Chelsea away incredible too.
But in the context of things, that first ever premier league win against United with the side they had and the side we had. Blakes goal. Beasts penalty save. United at home has to be it for me.

Arsenal (H) 2009 deserved a place for me. Drew, but were absolutely brilliant and were denied a winner via a poor decision.

I’m with CFC. Saw ‘em all - but the raw emotion after so long out of the top flight means the Utd game tops it for me. I thought The Longside might have broken it shook so much. Might be a bit off topic from the question, but definitely the greatest win. Best performance ......there’s been plenty of nail biters that should be contenders.

From a purely performance aspect has to be Liverpool at home for me,this game give us the belief that we could survive in the Premier League and weren't just making up the numbers. This was the day we had 19% possession and yet never looked in danger.

Re: Vote for our best ever Premier League performance (so far)
Although it wasn't an overly significant result, I thought our 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea in 2016-17 was a tactical masterpiece.
Chelsea scored early on (within the first 10 minutes?) and that was the last shot on target for the Champions elect.
And not because it was a backs to the wall performance from us, we more than held our own and scored a superb equalizer from Brady's free kick.

Can't believe that neither the 3-3 (2009) or 2-2 (2014) away draws with City are an option.

I would rather forget the premier league meetings with them (aside from Blakes goal)tybfc wrote:I keep looking for the ones against Blackburn but can't find them but it is getting late.

They've already been beaten in the seasonal vote at the time. What do you want, a second referendum?Geoff wrote:Can't believe that neither the 3-3 (2009) or 2-2 (2014) away draws with City are an option.

Burnley 1 man city 1 Only a world class save from Lennons strike kept them in it!
Re: Vote for our best ever Premier League performance (so far)
Has to be from the 2010 season given it's the perfect style of football for me. I'd also say the 1-1 home draw to Arsenal, I think we hit the woodwork 3 times and had a goal ruled out, the kind of high tempo fluid attacking football we don't see anymore, things definitely improved last year a tad so I won't rule out us becoming easier on the eye again next season.

Don't you mean ''only an open goal miss from Sterling kept us in it'' ?tim_noone wrote:Burnley 1 man city 1 Only a world class save from Lennons strike kept them in it!

Burnley 1 Arsenal 1.
Outstanding performance once Fabregas had gone off.

Has to be the United game...Fergie and all, what a way to kick off your first ever game in the Premier league....the Turf rocked that night and I don't think that atmosphere has ever been replicated in every subsequent Turf Moor game since...such a pity.

As already explained - it's the games voted the best home and best away performances of each season. That's why they are not included.Geoff wrote:Can't believe that neither the 3-3 (2009) or 2-2 (2014) away draws with City are an option.
