It's called drawing the foul contact was made....we seen it against Burnley a few times last season we have to accept these things.

De Gea dipping into the Joe Hart goalkeeping manual. Or is that Manuel?

Ronaldo is simply brilliant. Every touch, every pass, every header, every shot achieves something positive. He is incredibly productive. Spain have 11 world class players. Portugal have 10 average players and 1 who is just on another planet to everyone else!

Pepe was a disgrace. No foul, went down like he'd been hit by a sniper, then jumped to his feet the next second.

If that’s the rule then fair enough but I can’t find that stated anywhere in the rules?

A penalty is not always given under those circumstances though. If the ref deems the attacker to have dived, it’s not a penalty even if that dive results in the defender and the attacker coming into contact. I accept the CR7 one tonight was marginal but I still think he’s initiated and gone looking for the contact.

Obviously he wants the contact, why else would he do step overs and go around the player? he wants to draw the defender in to make a foul and win a penalty, it's not a dive in a million years and you're probably the only person who thinks it isn't a penalty.

I'd have Costa in our team all day long. Think he could definately do a job for us, coming off the bench for the last 10. ;)
