Who will you support?

Anyone but England. You can get arrested and thrown in prison for saying you support England.

Are you still able to change the word genuine to ludicrous? It will save a lot of people's time.

I'm supporting Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Sweden and Denmark

Not supporting Iceland or Switzerland, as they are not in the EU, despite many people who support INGERLAND assuming that they are

Not hoping for a last minute reprieve that FIFA offer your side, the EU All Stars, as a wild card lancs?

Nope

I'm taking this thread as a chance for us all to unwind, and I'll be swearing at the telly on Monday when we kick off, as you will be!

I'll tell you what. Gareth Southgate could well show Teresa May a thing or two, about leaving Europe by a certain date! ;)

That's a sensible (or otherwise) a question as asking who you will support now that the UK hasn't qualified.

You're right, it's a tongue in cheek question. The UK has never had a team qualify, nor is it ever likely to. However, if the elite of European political establishment get to fullfill their fantasy.......

The great thing is the UK has never lost a match either, what a record we have in this competition!

It's good. But not as good as Nelson FC's (yes Nelson near Burnley) record against Real Madrid.

Google it! ;)

Impressive result but I lost all interest in Nelson once it became impossible to get a Knickerbocker glory in the wimpy in the Arndale.

Oh I wouldn't say that. The mrs has a decent left hook when she's riled.

The long spoon and digging for the cherry at the bottom. Life was so simple. No need for a selfie to prove you had eaten one.

Nostalgia's not what it used to be.

Fifa World Cup Final 2018 - 15th July 2018 - 4pm

Fifa World Cup Final 2018 (Replay) - 19th July 2018 - 6.30pm (the replay is just in case the remainers didn't like the outcome of the final, especially as the final will have been influenced by Russia)

Nelson's record against Real Madrid isn't that great. Won 1, lost 1. Meh.
