When they complete the other side (between JMU and the BL stand) are they putting another big screen up?
There is a second big screen going up but as yet there is no confirmation where on the ground it will be. If you are having two in corners then, logically, the other should be in the Bob Lord/cricket field corner but there isn't a corner there really because of the positioning of the two stands.

Really?

I'm sure there was a hint that they would eventually look at the other end of the Bob Lord to match the profile as it now is at the Jimmy Mac end?

We'll see i guess

Really hope they end up painting/rendering all of the breeze block in claret and blue. Noticed on Saturday it's now white but would make it blend into the other stands a lot better.

Is there any news on if the stands will be named? Noticed on social media there was a bit of a push to get it named after Gary Parkinson but don't think I've seen anything official.

I was hoping that too. I know it would be a luxury move, but re-cladding the stadium in the higher quality cassette cladding used around the club shop, offices and main entrance of the Bob Lord would look mint. The cheaper corrugated cladding doesn’t fit a Premier League club, in my humble opinion. Not a priority though.

Where we at now?

Is the North East corner going to be in use by the end of the season?

Seems to have gone a bit quiet.

Wasn't the last update that the NE corner would be in use for the Cardiff game? I think the club said they were planning to invite a small number in from then to end of season.

One of the corner stands is due to open on 13th April.
And second screen is to be located in between bob lord and cricketfield stand.
This what I was told by someone who sits on one of the committees a few weeks ago.
Also mentioned that fans in bob lord aren’t happy with the position of the first screen as many can only see half of it - though to be fair that’s the same for a number of fans who sit in that stand who can only see half of the pitch !

They have a choice. Sit under a low roof that provides excellent shelter from the elements but blocks the view of the screen; or sit under a high roof that provides poor cover from the elements but you can see the screen. You can't always have everything.

When you pay for a season ticket, you should at least get the same benefits as everyone else

That could be tricky. On a wet and windy day, should they spray the Bob Lord stand patrons with hosepipes to ensure they get the same "benefit" as the people in the lower tiers across the way? And on a sunny day, shine sun ray lamps in our faces?

It's impossible to produce 20,000 seats, all in the same spot with the same view and the same weather and the same distance from the pitch. What they are forced to do instead is let people know where the seat they are buying is, so they can make an informed choice about which particular facilities they want.

Not being able to see the screen from my seat in the Bob Lord, when I had one. Was one of the reasons I choose the back row. Win win.

Being in the premium stand we expect more benefits.....!

Seriously though it is a shame that we have put 2 new screens in and 1/3 of the stand can’t see them. I’m 4 rows from the back and all I can see is the clock.

Ha Ha Ha you are joking right?

Where have you been?

There's a reason there are varied prices of seats dependent where you sit.

The current screen is good for replays when a goal is scored at the CFS end.

It's also good for seeing opposition team line ups. Many's the time I've checked and seen a 'superstar" name in the line up and find their anonymous on the pitch.

Sadly too many times this season it's been a case of looking at our line up and thinking "Oh, I didn't realise he was playing"

They could, in theory put a few smaller screens into the roof cavity of the Bob Lord to mitigate the issue, but honestly, i think it might put Edna off her bovril
