Lovely kit. Sponsors logo is clearly too big and clumsy though. At least it’s in our colours. Looks like the logo has been photoshopped on to a photo of the kit in the main picture.

I've seen worse.
Doesn't really worry me as I don't find modern material at all wearable and wouldn't buy it for that reason alone

and, LaBa 360 is operated by Vivaro Limited - regulated by Gambling Commission - as a "white label"

A status of white label means that this is a site for whom the operator provides white label services (i.e. the operator hosts the site for another company)

No doubt we will all learn more about LaBa as they promote their gambling and casino activities.

EDIT: added "white label" details

Hopefully the new sponsorship deal will fund a new signing that might change peoples views!

LONDON, June 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --
New gaming brand to unveil EPL shirt sponsorship with "Party Like a Boss" promotion offering 10 lucky players VIP day out to celebrate UK launch.
New gaming and betting brand LaBa360.co.uk will be celebrating its launch and Premier League shirt sponsorship deal next week (week commencing 2 July) by offering players a chance to guess which team it will be partnering with from the start of the next football season.
(Logo: https://mma.prnewswire.com/media/711856 ... 0_Logo.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
As a welcome offer, LaBa360 will be running an amazing promotion: 'Party Like a Boss' will offer one lucky winner and nine friends the opportunity to be taken to the sponsorship party, where they will spend the day partying in the Director's box at LaBa360's partner football club.

Shedding light on the brand name, Angelika Tang, Director of LaBa360.co.uk, explained: "There's an interesting story behind our choice of brand name. We'll be talking about the Legend of LaBa360 throughout the season, but for now we'll just say that 'LaBa' was the nickname of a very lucky gambler in the late 1800s in China. And we're bringing that legendary luck to players, starting with this amazing promotion to celebrate our launch and shirt sponsorship."

Hint: LaBa360's partner club had a fantastic 2017-18 season and a number of the club's players were called up to England for Russia 2018. Another hint: some of those players are on stand by but one is in the squad. Some would say he is one of the luckiest players ever, considering where he was playing not that long ago. Hence LaBa360's alignment with the club, legendarily lucky.

I am more concerned with TV adverts during a match because they are glossy and actively try to encourage the kids watching to gamble. The message is to people of any age, it’s cool to gamble. As soon as they are old enough, they will.

The shirt is deplorable and I think it sells the fans and our community heritage down the river. My issue with it is the wider branding, all over the ground and (hopefully not) potentially on Claretsplayer too. Small minded, naive, and too keen to make a quick buck.

Watch any game of any sport on Sky now and the adverts in between are nearly always from betting companies.

Do your kids sit and watch them and then ask to go and have a bet?

No of course they don't.

Whether we like the shape or the size of the new sponsorship kit it looks as though whoever at the club has got us a very good deal.

Deplorable is a ridiculous word for this.

Surely in your eyes the fans and community heritage were sold down the river when Fun88 sponsored our shirts all the way back when Laws was in charge.

We haven't done too badly since then have we

Fair enough if you don’t see the cause and effect from this or believe there is none. I view it very differently. I have worked in mental health settings and the gambling and other psychological addictions are becoming huge issues. It will only get worse. The club are actively encouraging people to gamble. That is not a community club - that no longer exists, BFC is now a money making machine. It was a minor and partially funny grumble charging us the rip off prices for Twix and water, but moving to vaping and now this. Deplorable is NOT too strong a word.

Let’s be clear here - web pages like Sportek suggest we had £2.5m annually from the old deal, this is higher, so when it is compared to what we could have got from a more morally acceptable company, let us say it is £2m annually extra (probably lower than this). Against a turnover of what is in excess of £150m this is chicken feed. The club could have chosen to go the other way.

As for the kids element, I have a 6 year old. The betting ads are her favourite bit. She becomes captivated. Of course she will not bet at 6, but anyone who works with CAMHS will know, this is how it starts. Sooner or later, within the next 10 years, they will have a friend with an older sibling and an online betting account. So I have no choice but to work now to explain to her what betting is and why she would lose money from it. Just like I have to explain to her why she can’t walk to her friends on her own. No innocence these days.

Having a Chinese company and Chinese writing is a very good thing for global exposure. It would be nice to promote local companies but I think that era has gone.

Easy to work out if it's a rectangular logo but with our new one it will require someone with better geometry skills than I have.
I think it stands out/ looks odd to me in that there are 3 images in the logo and the top left one will mean nothing to most English speaking people.

CrosspoolClaret (#158 & #164) puts forward a well constructed argument against this new deal. I think a lot of other supporters will identify with his reasoning and, dare I suggest, maybe one or two within the Boardroom walls will also feel uncomfortable seeing Burnley players running around the pitch with a giant replicated casino chip emblazoned across their chests.

However, it's worth taking a step back for a minute and looking at some actual numbers. The last set of accounts, to June'17 and the first year of the Dafabet deal, shows a sponsorship figure of £6.3 million. To put that in context the figure, for the first time in our history, is higher than Match Income (at £5.8m) for the year. Catering and other Retail activities amounted to £4.1m and Broadcasting £105m. Clearly the sponsorship figure will be the same or similar for the financial year just ended to June'18 but a reasonable estimate for the current year and the new LaBa360 deal would be in excess of £10m per season.

With that in mind it's not difficult to understand why some Board sceptics may have been persuaded to go down this route and we have to accept that being in the Big league (as we are now) brings with it some decisions which may not sit well with our humble origins of Burnley Football Club.

Why do you say 'and now this' like it isn't something which first happened 8 years ago?

You couldn't possibly refuse to deal with any sponsor whose name is/sounds rude in some other language.
