Fantasy Premier League returns
I've just set up the Up the Clarets League in Fantasy Premier League. Announcement post at the top of the board for joining.
I'm going to do better this season - I say that every year, and I can't get much worse.

Not sure what happened there, but I've found the problem and it should be OK now.aclaretinstevenage wrote:When I "click here" on the link in the main article. On both tablet and laptop.

Right up the start of the season, and we usually allow people in during week 2 but usually everyone is in ahead of the first games.whiffa wrote:When's the cut off date for joining CT?

Payment made, if I finish anywhere near the top 10 I see that as progress after a woeful year last season.

Good intentions are fine cutsy123, that's my plan every year. It usually fades away before we move into September.cutsy123 wrote:Im in again.

Not much slate left I'm afraid, just £4 remaining in first goal sweep.RammyClaret61 wrote:Count me in CT. do I need to send you some money? Or is there enough on my slate?

I was flying last season at one point but when you miss changing ya team 1 or 2 weeks you cant catch the people that overtake uClaretTony wrote:Good intentions are fine cutsy123, that's my plan every year. It usually fades away before we move into September.

Re: Fantasy Premier League returns
One of the reasons we introduced the manager of the month awards was so people like me had something to play for come September onwards. Still not won one though.cutsy123 wrote:I was flying last season at one point but when you miss changing ya team 1 or 2 weeks you cant catch the people that overtake u

Re: Fantasy Premier League returns
The World Cup has sort of slowed it down a bit and we are still nearly four weeks away. But I think the take up will start to increase now.

Re: Fantasy Premier League returns
I am only entering if jdrobbo stops becoming so competitive.
I got emails, texts, death threats when I was above him the first time that I entered so I stopped changing my team.
We need Spooks from MI6 to regulate this competition and take out the bullies.
He is even worse now the school hols have begun.

That's why I set up the league, I go top immediately although that always ends when the season kicks off.RammyClaret61 wrote:Yeah!!!! I’m in the “top” 26!!

Re: Fantasy Premier League returns
A surprisingly low uptake on this so far. Over 100 entered last season and we’ll be lucky to hit fifty at this rate! It’s a great do with decent cash prizes when several enter!

I keep meaning to get round to it which I will, Think lots could be waiting until the window closes you’re almost guaranteed a late surge, yes it’s a good do agree on that.jdrobbo wrote:A surprisingly low uptake on this so far. That’s strange I don’t appear to be receiving it, I had a old email on the account which I’ve since removed & updated the 1 in use to primarily. Would it be possible for me to email you the correct address? Thanks.
