Currently got music on had a bit of a tidy round as you do...called at a couple of houses yesterday both households listening intently to the local and national news my bad timing got me the lunchtime and evening bulletins? Multiple murders.. stabbings.. More murders...arson on the moors...poisonings in Wiltshire etc etc. Are we at war yet by any chance?

I've been ranting about it in the garden, as well as about the house and neighbours.

The real point of the thred is connected in a way to Factual Fs posts. Theres so much sh!t on the tv channels.I left the soaps out but saying that they are champions at highlighting tragedy grief and sadness...no wonder there's so many people cabbaged!

My mates phone now sends him news updates first thing every morning... usually the same. 7 killed in train derailment. Gangland shooting. 4 poisoned. Acid attack on woman. Rape, murder and financial crisis.

**** filling your head with that when you wake up and before you go to bed!

Thats before the aforementioned soaps, celebrities and 'reality' tv....

I actually don’t watch “regular” broadcast TV anymore. All my viewing is selective on streaming services such as Netflix and Prime. The exception lately has been the football. This behaviour is as a result of my mental health being affected by the bilge being streamed into the subconscious of all of us. It was a conscious decision to avoid it, and I do feel healthier for it.

Talking of Netflix.. Been watching Friday nigh dinner from2012. Comedy sitcom it appeals.quite funny.I go to bed on a laugh instead of a murder!
