Post by MarkGreen » Fri Jul 06, 2018 11:03 am

I am not sure if this has been shared already, but this is a great clip of Pope loving life in the England setup.

its a role only a few would relish in my view, imagine if england won it, and it was pickford in the nets, i would be sat on a bench hoping we'd lose.

Why would you hope we lose, when you’re a football fan and you live in England?

That doesn’t make any sense. Nick pope is at work, so why would he sing that song.

I admire them for the team spirit, no problems at all with that, and I personally want england to win the world cup, its just that I wouldnt care to be sat on the bench not getting a game, and if i was pope I would want them to fail if pickford was chosen ahead of me.

Good job both the England Squad and Burnley Squad are made of sterner stuff.

Then he would be Nicholas Pobe or Nicholas Popeobe!
He might be able to play for Greece if he uses the 2nd one!
