Nacer Chadli

Post by Vegas Claret » Fri Jul 06, 2018 7:11 pm

Just watching the Brazil v Belgium game and wondered why I've never seen his name mentioned on any transfer threads. Good player, loads of PL experience, 17 million quid release clause.

Because just the royalty we have to pay for using his name exceeds our wage structure.

60K a week with the rumoured 50% reduction clause in all the baggies players contracts puts him now on 30K a week

Can't expect him to live on that. We should put a bid in for humanitarian reasons.

Can we set up as a charity and claim Gift Aid on ST and Twix sales?

I think your aiming too high. You need to be realistic and look at the championships star performers. I feel certain that's what your manager will probably do.

The one Belgian who impressed me last night was Witsel, tho plying his trade in China there's no way we could afford him!

I've been impressed with Meunier. He's really energetic on the left side.

You may well be right, it’s a policy that’s worked spectacularly well so far.

Meunier outside our wage bracket as well I’m afraid.
Chadli has the quality, adaptability and work rate to fit our side, but wages may also be an issue.
Was injured most of last season, and possibly again last night.

Pretty sure Chadli refused to go on a pre season boot camp under Pulis because he didn't fancy all the early morning runs, that's why they fell out. Hard to see him fitting in here under Dyche.
