Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
It's a global audience and regardless of performance and position we are destined for media obscurity again.
The others are likely to score a few or get caned depending on their status, we on the other hand are the new '1-0 to the Arsenal' type club.

Can't say I'd be in a rush to televise too many of our games either.

It's no wonder SKY and the media keep marketing the "BIG 6" line when you look at the teams they continue to show, week in week out.
It's all media spin and marketing of a select group of teams...... totally killing the game which I grew up loving and now feel a little MEH about
Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
But would you rush to watch Neil Warnock's brand of football?Squarepusher wrote:Can't say I'd be in a rush to televise too many of our games either.
They are on more than us!
Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
Pretty obvious no one wants to watch Dychenosaur football.. it's been a great 6 years, but now it's time for a change in style which sadly means a new manager is needed..
Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
Says a lot about the "brand" of football we play
Just not an attractive proposition for other fans

Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
So we sack a manager mid-season, and for what reason exactly?Claretuk wrote:Pretty obvious no one wants to watch Dychenosaur football.. it's been a great 6 years, but now it's time for a change in style which sadly means a new manager is needed..
And what happens if it's obvious after - say a dozen matches, the new manager isn't working out, should we get rid of them as well?
The hypocrisy of some fans towards clubs like Chelsea, Watford & Leicester for sacking their managers on an annual basis knows no bounds!
Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
Don't mind us not being on TV much to be honest, would rather play on Saturday at 3 o clock.

Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2018/19
That league actually represents the revenue importance of the prem, for TV.
Bournemouth in a larger ground would rise, as they have a rich backer. Southampton would rise above Brighton, if they had a team. Watford are not counted as 'London' so struggle. Huddersfield and Burnley are not wanted.
Cardiff have potential, as they are Welsh.
Odd though, how Manchester City play the best football, score most goals, are big financially and yet outgunned by the other top 5!
