Frank, are you still reading the board? I, for one, am missing your posts.

Re: FactualFrank
hopefully Frank is giving this board a miss for a while. the depressants and negative people on this board are not good for him. ive never come across a board before where so may people are suicidal.
Re: FactualFrank

Uncalled for. 99% of Franks replies were supportive of his situation and if folk are honest enough to come on here and open up about their own troubles and solutions, to help him, good on em.pushpinpussy wrote:hopefully Frank is giving this board a miss for a while. the depressants and negative people on this board are not good for him. ive never come across a board before where so may people are suicidal.

Re: FactualFrank
The bully boys are known for who they are. Anyone with any sense just ignores them.
If Frank is deliberately avoiding the board because it makes him feel better then that's fine. I'm just concerned for him and anxious to know that he is OK.

Hopefully muchacho is fine, hopefully he has decided to stop spending and therefore wasting so much time on this stupid messageboard.

The depressants?
So many people suicidal?
You clearly need to learn to read (and use capital letters).
Frank posted and some replies were from people who had gone through similar experiences and offered positive words that depression can be beaten.
Do you really think replies from people who don’t even know what depression is is going to help?
Re: FactualFrank
Dear FactualFrank,
First of all, respect for your admittance of your scenario.
Talking is the first hurdle, proper help is the next.
I always liked muchacho, but FactualFrank seems a totally different person.
If you know where he is, please could you have a chat with muchacho and find out what made him tick ?
I rarely post on here but admire both of you. Both of you need a change of direction. Go outside of your comfort zone and enjoy your day. Give yourself a different mindset when you go to bed. Wake up positive.
I did the Cross Bay walk today, from Arnside over Morecambe Bay, not a regular thing for me. Brain operating on a different scale now. Sense of achievement is great.
Find a challenge and conquer it. Even if it only involves walking to get a daily paper. Only is a huge word to you.
Own it.
Good luck.
As was said earlier, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
You are worth more than that.
One life, enjoy it !
Keith

Hi piston broke.
"Uncalled for. 99% of Franks replies were supportive of his situation and if folk are honest enough to come on here and open up about their own troubles and solutions, to help him, good on em."
Fully agree with you. All but a few people who, to be honest, I pity, responded positively, saying, quite rightly, that it takes balls to talk about such matters on here. It does. He did it. People offered help. People sympathised and/or empathaised. It was very positive. There are a lot of damn decent folk on here.

Try not to be too downhearted, Frank. Especially when there’s first rate whimsy like this on the Internet.

Hi blsclaret.
"As was said earlier, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem."
I agree with much of what you said but when people commit suicide it's rarely a "choice". It's because they can't take it any more. And it's not usually a temporary problem. I've been clinically depressed for 11 years now with four spells in a psychiatric clinic. And my **** is not going anywhere fast.

It’s finding the right answer that works, everyone’s different & people respond differently to the condition & treatment there receive. Some respond some are forever searching for the elixir.ecc wrote:Hi blsclaret.

Let us know how it feels to be as popular as a new signing, won't you Frank?
If I was gonna top myself I doubt most of this board would care.
If it were you, I think there'd be even less.

Not sure that's the case. There was a report on local news recently where a young lady in recovery from such problems as created these type of msgs on suicide risk bridges.Croydon Claret wrote:That was written by somebody who has never been though depression and shouldn't be applying for a job as a counsellor anytime soon

Kinda like your post, i'd imagine. Cos if you've been through depression then why the **** would you **** on someone else's fairly innocuous efforts to maybe help someone who's at their end?Croydon Claret wrote:That was written by somebody who has never been though depression and shouldn't be applying for a job as a counsellor anytime soon
