Any ideas on how I buy a home Aberdeen ticket online for my season ticket seat. I've cleared the basket as if kept uploading the friendly fixtures automatically. I now can't pick the specific seat. I phoned up and listened to loads of holiday inn express adverts and can pay the ticketing company another £1.50 or speak to the IT dept at BFC. It's sometimes hard to believe we are a multi million pound business. I just want to buy a ticket simply without wasting time.

Don't clear the basket. When the ticket listing first appears, there's a cross next to each so you simply delete the tickets you don't want then move on.

I had the same problem and set up a new one in the name of Fred Karno, Number 1, Circus St, Burnley.

It worked ok.

This online booking has become somewhat of a joke to say the least.

The online ticket system is a bit of nightmare, under 10's show up as an Adult, then took about 5 go's to get it to accept debit card!

I couldn't get my season ticket online had to pay extra and phone up

Just had a look at seat availability and at the minute there looks to be about 15000+ available! All seats are now on general sale.

As nobody in the ticket office answers the phone these days perhaps somebody on here may be able to answer this question.

Do you have to collect your Aberdeen home tickets from the ticket collection office?

I don't remember when ordering them being given the option of being posted and they haven't arrived so I am assuming that I have to go over to Burnley to collect them?

I'm just not seeing a big crowd on for this. No disrespect, but most were expecting something different.

Thanks for that. I was ordering them whilst I was on the phone and not really paying attention to what the screen was saying.

People don't like paying for extra games after paying for STs these days. When I first started watching cup games were more popular.

I paid online using a Visa debit, but when I clicked the visa debit option, it wasn't accepting. So I had to change it to Visa credit card option.

Every area of the stadium is good availability at the moment. I think it will be really disappointing not to sell out or close to it, can't understand the lethargy!

Also people might decide nearer the time, I haven't rushed to get my seat yet as I've other things on and no time to nip down to the turf.
I'll go down a few days before the game if I fancy going on, if I miss out then so be it, I got the all importsnt ticket.

Don't know if it's an age thing but normally I would have been straight down to get a ticket once they came on general sale.But after this last month I think I'm footballed out and just can't be bothered

A max of 2 tickets online, why?! Do the club have a creche I can drop the kids off at before me and the mrs go in?

Plenty of tickets available but im sure theyl be 20k on for our first home european game. It might not happen again for a long time

I have always had doubts as to how many would attend.
Frankly it doesn't matter if we're playing Barcelona, Blackburn Rovers or Aberdeen. A very large percentage of Burnley fans would have already booked their summer holiday long before dates and fixtures were announced.
And even if supporters were aware of the Europa League dates in most cases you can't change the dates of your annual leave very easily.
Burnley supporters love and support their club, but they also like their holidays and value their money. The vast majority won't change longstanding holiday plans - even to support their team.

It's Aberdeen you dip stick former European champions. It is not about the players, it's about the supporters who on the hole will be more excited about playing Aberdeen than some Sunday league outfit from Eastern Europe.

Quite the opposite, I wanted the easiest tie possible to get as far as possible in the EL.

Looking on line, you can have almost any seat you want at present. Season ticket holders have had their chance to claim their seat and it looks like many haven't bothered.

As others have said, it's peak holiday season. Also just don't think a lot of our younger fans will be that bothered about seeing us in Europe. Think it's more of a big deal to the supporters who've sat through some of the rubbish we produced in the 80s and 90s!

Yep.
It's not as extreme as it once was, but Burnley used to be pretty much a ghost town during the Burnley holiday fortnight. People won't forego their annual holiday for a game against Aberdeen.

We should of give Aberdeen the full CF stand so at least we might scrape double figures for the crowd.

Games like this we're reminded we are only a small club.

My first thought when they announced ticket details were that they were testing the market on the pricing, and seeing what they could get away with.

Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic all struggled with crowds in Europe, unless they had a massive tie against a Celtic at home or an Atletico Madrid. All clubs were charging £5-15 for tickets too for most games.

The reality is that despite it being great for the club, Burnley is a poor town and it’s peak holiday season, and people have just bought season tickets. We should have followed what the other local clubs did with prices (not sure what agreement needed?), and will have to do if we get a club nobody has heard of in the next round (if we get through). Perhaps half price for season ticket holders?

I’ll be happy if the crowd is north of 15,000 all things considered. Probably a late surge for tickets after the first leg depending on the result.

It's not but when you see most of our regular ST holders have given up their chance to secure a great viewing seat it doesn't indicate they will purchase later does it?

You’d normally be right, and hopefully things pick up considerably, but we’ve just had a full week where people can sit in their normal seats, and it hasn’t tempted many.

Maybe they’re waiting until after the first leg to see how we get on?

Heard from an extremely reliable source that 8,000 fans are expected to travel from Aberdeen. Anyone who witnessed Celtic here in 1978 might be just a little concerned, I know I am because that was a very frightening experience.

No I'm not. However, let''s just say that after discussions between the two clubs a week or more ago in Scotland regarding policing this match my 'source' was offered the figure from his counterparts in Scotland. Whether or not it has been hyped up over the border I don't know but that was the figure he came back with. I'm not into knowing someone who knows someone etc. All I'm putting out is a figure provided by the police in Scotland during the meeting. I sincerely hope it doesn't turn out to be the case and ultimately we'll have to wait and see.

No chance are we taking 8000 down to this game when we have less than 2,500 tickets.
There will be fans travel without tickets but nothing like that number.
Also worth highlighting that we are a far friendlier bunch than Racist FC.
It would also appear that a large number of travelling support are only going to be in Burnley for the game and away to Manchester straight afterwards.

Bring a full wallet if going out in Manchester and don't wear football colours.
