Some seem to think that Mbappe will be the next footballing superstar, but good as he is I don't think he's ever going to be THAT good.

Perhaps we could produce someone as good as Gascoigne in future that may get close.

Mbappe will probably put the 'he's never won the World cup' thing to bed before he's 20.

Not sure about the 50 goals a season bit yet but Ronaldo wasn't doing that at 19 either so it's hard to know.

Messi and Ronaldo have scored consistently big amounts of goals for 10 years. Insane.

If Mbappe can get 30 a season for the next 10 years they’ll be a debate. Or any player for that matter. Be interesting to see what Kane can do.

It's impossible to know, but I feel sad that England seem unable to produce one. If we had just one world class midfield player tonight I am sure we would be in the final on Sunday

Young lad called Martinez. Plays for Racing Club in Argentina. Scores goals for fun in the league and has already been sought by Inter/Athletico Madrid/Real and Arsenal. Only thing holding him back is apparently he gets chronically homesick and doesn't even like being in Buenos Aires (he's a provincial lad and his team mates keep having to reassure him). That may possibly be the reason why he wasn't at the WC because nobody else over there can understand why he wasn't in the squad.

Actually he did. I checked up on him yesterday after I posted to see what was happening with him. Keep an eye out for him. Apparently Argentinian fans can't understand why he wasn't at the WC. His goals per game ratio is quite remarkable and according to reports he doesn't have a weakness in his game. I've seen some of his goals and his close control is brilliant. One to watch.
