For those who might have forgot it’s a 7pm ko. You wouldn’t want to be the one who turns up for the second half.

Nice to get the attention away from Wednesdays disappointment so soon. Looking forward to watching the clarets again now.

Driving down shortly. Any tips from fellow Irish clarets on best place to park?

When I attended last years friendly in Dublin they would not let me in with a bag new rule apparently (not even if they searched it) nowhere to leave it either.
Only got round it by a kind gent behind the desk offering to put it in his car until the end which worked out well, so be warned!

They were allowing people to leave bags at the ticket office/club shop at Shamrock.South West Claret. wrote:When I attended last years friendly in Dublin they would not let me in with a bag new rule apparently (not even if they searched it) nowhere to leave it either.

Not sure what parking is like at Turner’s Cross. When we were there five years ago we parked on a street just off the road by the ground but we were there very early.
We were made very welcome and it was the same at Shamrock a year ago. I made the decision not to go this year to save money for potential Euro games. I’m sort of regretting that decision just now.

It’s not good. If you go around the South Ring to airport slip road, turn under flyover, then first exit off. This leads straight to Turners X. At the second? lights(there is a Woodies on the right) I turn left and park down there. It is still a fair walk down to the ground but any nearer and it can get silly.Dublin7Claret wrote:Driving down shortly. Any tips from fellow Irish clarets on best place to park?
It being Ireland everyone is very free and easy and you could get lucky on an estate.

I asked them but I think they said something like their won’t be anyone here after the game, very strange.ClaretTony wrote:They were allowing people to leave bags at the ticket office/club shop at Shamrock.

Expected crowd of approx 2,000 so parking shouldn't be a huge issue. Looking forward to the new season UTC.

Yes, some streets near the ground you need permits, but others are free. I went quite early that day but clearly parked in someone's usual spot outside their house...ClaretTony wrote:When we were there five years ago we parked on a street just off the road by the ground but we were there very early.
