Jamie Carragher
Jamie Carragher
He must have served his TV ban as he seems to be slowly worming his way back on to sky sports.

Wasn't he banned until the end of last season? Therefore, his ban will be up.

No he should've just told him where to go - spitting out was his (bad) error of judgement. The numpty stranger should also have been sorted, especially being a prick in front of his daughter.

Anyone spitting on another is beyond the dregs.

Face it - he spat out of his window - it was never going to reach them - even a camel couldn't do wthat.
A silly thing to do but not earth shattering.

Re: Jamie Carragher
I find spitting the lowest of the low, I would genuinely rather be punched in the face than be spat on.
Lost any respect I had for him - though I’m not sure I really had any strong ‘Carra’ Opinions either way until the incident.

If he does get his job back, and he most probably will, I will cancel Sky. Most other people, in most other jobs and walks of life, would be sacked for gross misconduct for doing what he did, having been captured on film. Disgusting!

I know ‘PC brigade’ is a default response, but i’m not sure you’ve got the context right here.Vegas Claret wrote:not at all Saxo, not touched a drop - just laughing at the PC brigade above jumping on the bandwagon
The posters above are criticising a Liverpudlian and demanding much harsher punishments for a misdemeanour. Surely the PC Brigade would be pushing for rehabilitation and forgiveness, despite this being a famous rich man spitting on a school girl?
I don’t know what to think anymore.

I would, I've already downgraded my package, with netflix Amazon prime, kindles, & firestick there's not enough hours in the day. Keeping carragher on would tip me into cancelling it's not hard to find the slightest reason.Claretitus wrote:If he does get his job back, and he most probably will, I will cancel Sky. Re: Jamie Carragher
No, with respect I have the right context. I don't recall seeing anybody starting a thread when a player spits at another player during a game being televised to millions across the globe. There is no difference, it's disgusting on both occasions yet only one has a ridiculous over the top reaction.NottsClaret wrote:I know ‘PC brigade’ is a default response, but i’m not sure you’ve got the context right here.

Bet I do!! Looking already at BT, Sky is becoming too expensive now. Honestly, if the Scouser comes back, that'll make up my mind for me.Rileybobs wrote:Bet you don’t.
Re: Jamie Carragher
I liked him on Sky. I guarantee that most people have done something they regret at some point. He could’ve been in a highly stressed state already and a dickhead hurling abuse at him tipped him over. I don’t condone spitting as it’s truly vile, but he’s been punished and publicly humiliated so he’s welcome back for me. Him and Neville are quality!
