In memory of the victims of Nice -14/07/16

Post by ecc » Sun Jul 15, 2018 9:23 am

A day late but I don't think that matters.

A man and a lorry stole 86 people from their families and friends. And left 458 other people injured. Whilst the focus is always inevitably on the dead the injured can be left permanently disabled, physically and mentally scarred for the rest of their days.

I thought I missed something in the news for a moment there. I thought your thread was suggesting a man literally abducted 86 people in a lorry.

Hardly the best topic for the grammar police to turn up.

I don't understand why a thread about a truly horrific event ends up with "joking". Whatever. Not sure the relatives of the dead laugh much these days.
