Re: Aberdeen Away Pre/Post match
Arrive Thurs Lunchtime off train. Never been and don't know anything about Aberdeen so we will probably be following the crowds. 6hrs on the train is a real headstart for the days drinking !

Bit like going to Barcelona, Prague, Berlin etc and heading for the first Irish pub.Quickenthetempo wrote:Nowt more English than going somewhere different to seek out mediocrity in a Spoons pub.

Have never been able to understand why anyone would want to do that

Been in one British pub been in them all. Its the quality of the ale that counts and the ambience
Re: Aberdeen Away Pre/Post match
You simply must sample the authentic local cuisine & charming folk customs. Perhaps we could organise a dancing show.

Will inevitably be an unpopular opinion on here but find a certain irony about going to a spoons on a ‘European’ away day, but more to the point will also be the cheapest option inevitably both for food and drink

Except it’s nothing like that because it’s none of those cities. It’s Aberdeen.Top Don wrote:Bit like going to Barcelona, Prague, Berlin etc and heading for the first Irish pub.
