Bowling ok just now.
Couple of wickets would be good though.
They've some cancerous batsmen.

Macca I'm fairly certain it's a protective device. Wasn't an umpire killed a while ago by being hit by a ball?

Oh right cheers, I wasn't aware.
I've seen them a couple of times, but not on every umpire for every game.

Thought they may have been to help with measuring ball tracking, gatgering info to help get decisions correct or something like that.

England strolling to victory now.
Half way stage and we need 105 off 25 over, with both Morgan and Root well in, on 35 and 54 respectively

Eng 152/2 25/50 Overs
Target 257

Root could have been out stumped, but it was off a no-ball. England need 46 of 90 balls.

Big statement of intent by England today,Rashid and Moeen strangled the life out of the Indian batsman through the middle overs, fantastic delivery to dismiss Kohli, and this was backed up by the outstanding fielding, summed up by Stokes brilliant run-out of Dhawan, then the senior figures easily guided England home, and crucially England are now playing the wrist-spinner much better, hence he was wicketless today.

Joe Root became the first England player to make centuries in successive one-day innings. In doing so he overtook Marcus Trescothick as England's all-time leading century maker in the 50-over format, surprised that no-one has scored back-to-back ODI centuries before given the talent at England's disposal, the likes of Botham,Gatting,Gooch,Lamb,Hick couldn't manage this feat, shows it is not easy to achieve.

In this form England will be the team to beat in next years World Cup,the worry for all the other teams is that someone scores big or the bowlers take wickets at vital stages of matches, and the strength in depth is frightening,Jason Roy sat out today due to injury, yet a few weeks ago he hammered Australia's bowlers to all parts.

Was at Headingley yesterday, a fine all round performance by England, all contributed but India seemed dispirited and demoralised. Khoni batted well but captained poorly, fielding was poor and Dhoni looks to have gone on one season too many. A pity Rashid cannot/will not play test cricket.

Didn’t Bairstow recently make back to back tons?
