I was looking forward to that 18,000 seater 1 tear stand. Truth be told, it’s awful. Looks like the emirates. The should have copied Dortmund.

Looks a lot like The James Hargreaves upper with all that room under the stand.

Looking forward to Saturday 15th Dec (or any re-scheduled date) for first visit to the new WHL.

Looks like they're cracking on with it. Wait until they get to the disabled corner bits though, that'll add a few months. Always tricky them.

I can't wait to see it from the stands.
I'm not sure if it's been asked before, but does anyone know what their official away allocation is going to be. I should imagine it's going to be popular.

Yeah imo on the inside. This and the Emirates are just bigger versions of the huddersfield/bolton stadiums.

I loved the idea of the 1 tier end but don’t like how it’s been done.

I loved WHL such a great looking ground.

Me too, one of my favourite grounds to visit. Boleyn Ground another. Very impressive, shiny new stadiums but can't beat the tradition and atmosphere of the old ones.

Will Jeremy Corbyn be guest of honour if he is PM when it opens ?
That said as far as new stadia go it looks impressive and if the world cup moves from Qatar it's another reason why we could host it at the drop of a hat.

Surely David Lammy (although Corbyn's first role in politics was for the council where White Hart Lane is).

A priority for a stadium is the view of the pitch from your seat.. The Emirates looks very good in those terms.. I can't see the complaint.

It certainly has the wow factor for me, and I bet the atmosphere will be a lot better than that generated at The Emirates. Role on 15th Dec.

Any news on prices yet?

Taking their time getting those cranes down aren't they :) .. by the way I wonder how they dismantle the last one.

They usually use a huge self erecting crane as the first and last one. Often these are lorry mounted. I watched one fold itself up a few months ago at the Jaguar site in Birmingham, impressive thing to see.
