Lovely, eh? A member of your family is murdered or maimed for life and a Letter Before Action lands on your doormat.

I can understand the victims suing the hotel, due to the number of guns he had in his room.

I don't understand them suing the concert organisers..

How many guns did he have?

It can’t be that hard to bring things into a hotel via a few trips with suitcases, it would hardly look particularly suspicious.

As awful as it was, I’m not sure that anyone or any company should be sued, unless there was something blatant that should have caused suspicion.

So, in USA a "gun guy" shoots many hundreds people who were attending a concert outside a hotel from his hotel room. The victims sue both the hotel and the concert organisers. In response the hotel sues the victims - but is not seeking any damages.

I wonder if the victims could be sued if they'd not first sued, what could be argued, is another victim?

And, PDT advised TM to sue the EU.

Paul Simon was great on Sunday night. "Still crazy after all these years" was one of many, many memorable highlights.

Anyone see Sacha Baron Cohen's new programme "Who is America?" The response to SBC posing as an Israeli recommending that USA train "gifted youngsters....from 12 to 3 years old" to carry guns to defend themselves against a "bad guy with a gun" summed up some of "the gun lobby" in US.

Again, Paul Simon and James Taylor - Hyde Park, Sunday evening - made the case for a more human and better USA. The crowd all cheered in support of their comments.

And a "happy and inspiring story" from America (though it doesn't really matter where this happened):

Alabama employee gets new car from boss after 20-mile walk

It was difficult to decide whether to laugh or cry.
