New car battery

Post by karatekid » Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:31 am

I need a new battery for a 2011 mini. Apart from the usual kwik fit type places where in the burnley area could I pick one up today. Halfords have them in stock at £110. Is that reasonable?

It is not a stop/start car.

Completely different car but I got one for a Kia from Halfords for about £60. It came with a warranty which lasts a few years as well.

You get what you pay for with car batteries. A decent one will serve you well. I paid £90 from Halfords arounda year ago. I have a trade card though.

You are better off at one of the local superfactors (BBC, Europarts, Rays if you are anywhere near accy)
Halfords are over priced on pretty much everything.
They rely on people thinking they can't possibly be ripped off there being as it's such a big company

Multi autoparts near Aldi and the Halfords store are usually decent. Worth a quick phone call to see if they have any.
