I did this with no preparation/looking elsewhere and got only 7. I struggled a bit with the spelling on a few, it's a bit fussy on getting them right (although you dont need to have first names).
There were a couple I kicked myself for not getting but I was surprised with one or two. A few I would never have got in another 10 minutes..

I had at least 5 goes at the Arsenal answer. I got the Burnley one right though, without the extra letter.

Given your difficulty spelling have it's no surprise that Aubameyang caused a problem

He wasn't the owner when they shelled out that ridiculous fee for a player who was no longer that good.

I didn't think of it that way round. Interestingly, a Newcastle MP spoke in Parliament yesterday about the lack of spending. She couldn't get Benitez' name correct either. SSN showed the heavy spending on players at Newcastle over the last four years. They must have just spent it all on poor players.

Tbh if I was a Newcastle fan had saw that Burnley had broken their transfer record 4 times and got to within £2m of Newcastle or that Huddersfield had broken it, I’d be asking questions too
