Burnley translate for our Aberdeen friends
I thought that we could put some phrases/sayings and their translations down for the Aberdeen lot, just in case they may think that we are taking the p1ss. Feel free to add.

Re: Burnley translate for our Aberdeen friends
Apparently Aberdeen folk have an extremely unhealthy association with including the word ‘bud’ in every sentence.
As yet there is no translation for this but it’s thought there is a link with very low IQ points.

Maybe a little cameo with Josh Widdecombe on BBC 3? Always look on the bright side, bud.

Get it? 'Budding'? There's hope for me yet.
I'll leave you with one bit of lingo from Burnley;
Gerra life ya boring bar steward and koff back t'aberdeen board - How unusual to see a member from Aberdeen with such a prolific posting record on a Burnley forum, it can only be assumed he's lacking in other pursuits to fill his time.

Lads, Bluto's started the day with a few beers before work...not seem him like this before. He can't wait for the game and to meet all the clarets in attendance. He's got euro summer vibes
