If you feel like giving BFC a lifetime of devotion, I second that emotion......

Just to confirm what us greybeards suspect, here are the songs that were No.1, on the dates of our previous 12 European ties.....

It's Now or Never - Elvis Presley ( Reims H & A )
Poetry in Motion - Johnny Tillotson ( Hamburg H )
Ebony Eyes/Walk Right Back - Everley Brothers ( Hamburg A )

Distant Drums - Jim Reeves ( Stuttgart H & A , Lausanne H )
Reach Out, I'll be there - 4 Tops ( Lausanne A )
I'm a Believer - The Monkees ( Napoli H & A )
Release Me - Englebert Humperdink ( Frankfurt A )
Somethin' Stupid - Frank & Nancy Sinatra ( Frankfurt H )

I think we can agree, some legends at work here !! For the record, this week's No1 is " In my feelings " by Drake !

No ? Me neither ! :D

The last time we were in Europe 1967 was the Summer of Love and for me the best year ever for music. Underpinned by producing IMO the greatest song of all time, Procol Harum, 'A Whiter Shade of Pale'. Good luck to all fellow Clarets travelling up this morning, have a safe journey.
