Aiden O'Neill To Return To Australia (Central Coast Mariners)
As per the headline Aiden O'Neill is nearing a loan move to the Central Coast Mariners.
The following article is on Goal.com:
Burnley midfielder Aiden O'Neill is close to securing a loan move to the Central Coast Mariners next season as the young Australian looks to secure game time.
The Covert Agent can reveal a potential loan could be confirmed within the next week as Mike Mulvey continues to strengthen last season's wooden spooners.
O'Neill moved to Burnley in 2014 and has since made five senior appearances for the club as well as enjoying loans to League One clubs Oldham Athletic and Fleetwood Town.
The 20-year-old made 27 appearances for Fleetwood last season and was also called up to Australia's U23 side earlier this year for the AFC Championship.
Should O'Neill make the move to the Central Coast he'd fill a void left by Daniel De Silva, who this week joined Sydney FC on loan after a complicated departure .

A shame he always looked like he might break into the first team squad. So this is another youngster from Down Under who has failed to make it.

If it's true he's going on loan.

Absolute circus this. Somebody coming into the game at that age is never going to get a professional contract unless it is as a gimmick
