30 already? doesn’t seem that long ago we were linked with him as a kid at Newcastle.

I bet he’d love to work with Mercer given his huge downturn in form over the last two years.

That would be a clever signing.

Bloody hell. That'd be a fair group of 'current' England international goalkeepers - Can't see it happening though

This would be a great bit of business. He's a good keeper, just needs a fresh start.

Not a chance, a goalie lacking in confidence and prone to more than the odd blooper. Surely heats, lingers and Legzdins is plenty??

It's a bit concerning with respect to Heaton's fitness if we're looking at Forster. I'm sure he won't want to come here to sit on the bench.

We need back up on the bench, and had Robinson alongside Pope, when Heats was on the pitch .
Foster would be a cracking signing under the circumstances. Nothing against Lindegaard or Legzdins, but we don't know how long Pope or Heaton are out for.

I'd be happy with lindegaard playing for a while, he can't be that bad

We all held our breath when Heaton did his shoulder, that didn't work out to bad did it? We don't need Forster much more important positions to fill than the keeper one, give him a chance I agree

He looked like he could do a bit at Aberdeen. Given a chance he could keep the other 2 out

Would be a fantastic signing.

Had a bad season for Southampton last season, but then so did southampton as a whole. Also lost some key players in front of him.

Hopefully Lindegarrd will prove his worth. But I wouldnt gamble on it, especially with no assurances Heaton is fit or will return to the level he was at and if a keeper as good as Forster was available for loan.

Heaton, Lindegarrd and Forster would be an excellent selection.

No way we should turn this chance down if its genuine.

If Forster is in our reach then it’s a must in my opinion.

All due respect to Lindegarrd, he has come in as a Third Choice keeper for a reason.

A panic buy if there ever was one, good keeper but for heavens sake we need outfield players

A sensible bit of business regards a loan period would be a good option.

We don't need to sign anyone, we have Conor Mitchell to play in goal, Jimmy Dunne as 4th choice defender, Dan Agyei for pace upfront and Dwight Mcneil to compete for a place on the wing.

But we have missed out on resigning Marney to solve our midfield problems

Have you seen them play enough times to make a judgement as to whether they are good enough or not?

Doesn’t matter it will stop us from going bust in 3 years if we spend 10 million on a player.

Yes, they're all superb players, real Premier League quality. Why sign players when we have these wonderkids? I want a club to support in 2 years time, we can't be spending money on players.

Depends how serious Heaton’s injury is.
This enquiry about Forster suggests its more than a calf niggle

I agree with you and we also have Aiden O'Neill.

Christ on a bike, Fraser forster is the most overrated keeper in the last to 10 years. Brian Jensen got down for shots far quicker than him. I'd rather have Pope with one arm than him, a huge part of why saints struggled last seadon, he's shire

We don't need him, Crouch can stand in for an injured keeper.

I suppose he played no part when they finished sixth and eighth in the previous two seasons?

Dean Marney was excellent for us in the last two seasons when he has played, he now plays for Fleetwood - what's your point ?

Not sure how long he's been playing but he's been over rated since he first started, makes the odd superb save but more often than not he's been crap, might do well under mercer though

Apparently Lindergaard has a tight thigh now? Looks like Legdzins our only keeper standing! Desperate times?

Dyche said both Heaton & Lindegaard will be ok for Thursday. Legzdins can’t be involved, we didn’t register him.
