Lucas Perez
Arsenal looking to offload him for around £8m. Cost them £18m 2 seasons ago. Hasnt figured much for them but still has a decent return of 1 in 3 (including europe) from the bench for them. Averages 1 in 3 wherever he goes.
Wouldnt break the bank and wouldnt be a bad option as a creative forward we are looking for who can play wide or central. Think Depor were after him again though (didnt they offer him a ten year contract once?)

Window shuts in 10 days, not 10 weeks.
We'd need 10 days to find his agents name, never mind his phone number!

Re: Lucas Perez
Even if were interested the stumbling block would be wages again, for 8 million he'd be worth a punt though.

Re: Lucas Perez
He'd fit within our wage structure if what I've read is true.
Completely forgot he was on their books.

Re: Lucas Perez
Good technique, not given much of a chance. Interestingly more Arsenal fans wanted him to stay and Welbeck to leave based on the results of a poll AFTV did.

Let’s go for Danny welbeck
Re: Lucas Perez
£7m now the asking price apparently. I’d take him.

Re: Lucas Perez
£7m is a very good price, wages could be an issue and possibly his character.
The interest of Lazio is a much bigger barrier. They would represent a more attractive location than us and the window doesn't close for the European clubs for awhile yet, so the incentive to sign for an English club and take himself out of the market early won't be great.

Re: Lucas Perez
He's one of a few forgotten men we could probably tempt over for minimal outlay. Add Patrick Roberts from City to the list, he's only 21 and seems surplus to requirements at City now. Markovic at Liverpool, Joel Campbell at Arsenal, Robert Snodgrass at West Ham... none of these will get a kick for their current clubs and could add experience or a bit of pace or flair to the squad.
