Being a real ale drinker you always discover little nuggets. I had a cracker the other week in Manchester called Shed Head. I normally go for shouts but in the heat that IPA hit the spot.

Snowhill(?) Pale IPA 3.7% at the Swan with Two Necks Pendleton was my pint of the century. I think how the beer is looked after is the main factor. Down here, Master Brew is usually disgusting but in the care of a proper landlord with a cool cellar it can be fantastic.

I was drinking Smithwicks Pale Ale whilst in Dublin, which was really nice - I’ve not found it over here yet.

7.5%.. You don't need much of it that's for sure. Love my ciders and it is one drink that doesn't do me in with gout.

For a refreshing drink I prefer Desperados, but generally I’ll have the odd bottle or six of Corona.

Marston's Pedigree, although the recent hot weather caused havoc for some of the smaller pubs swith some deliveries being drinkable but cloudy.
Our local sent them back so we had to put up with Wainwright.

Ooooooh I've been running round all afternoon titting about, just finally sat down and cracked open a Goose Island IPA.

I've still got the tingleys running through me 10 mins later... this is truly a drink of the gods (£10 for 2 x 4 pack at Morrisons btw!)

When in Europe I always drink the Weissbeer. Favourite being Rugenbrau Alpenperle from Interlaken.
I was in Interlaken for a CL final where Amstel had a free drink for every goal offer on. RM scored and I was alone in the dash for the bar. One mouthful and I knew why. They were all on this local stuff. They'd rather pay than drink the Dutch pish.
