Man City have just paid £2.6million for this 21year old Dutch youth International defender. Could prove a good signing and not a big risk either. Would we have been happy with him as cover?

The problem is even if he isn't as its city they don't need to worry about 2m . They will still get shut of him for about 6!

It doesn’t matter now really as we have missed the boat and anyway, his brother’s films are guff

McKenna at Aberdeen might be worth a detailed look at tomorrow evening – looked very capable and their fans seem to think he has the potential to go further

You may be right, but Mee and Tarks looked poor until Cosgrave tired/went off so you can't write him off on that basis. Definitely worth another look I say

A good point. Apparently Swansea are sending their scouts to the game tomorrow to have a look
