Might give us an indication.
I doubt at this stage Jay know's if a deal will go through, somewhat out of his hands so I doubt we'll see anything like that.
With regards to him playing at all WBA seem both happy to keep him and happy to sell him (for the right place), sends out a message.

Not really.
Anytime someone at Burnley lingers on the pitch our fans are convinced they're off..

He’s blatantly missing sitters to drive the price down before he comes ‘home’!
Joking - this isn’t happening.

After the Vydra signing. If that means we have to let Vokes go to sign Jayrod. Let’s stay as we are.
Another £18m or so on top of £11m for Vydra even if we get a decent fee for Vokes.
No need. Money can be spent better elsewhere.

Seriously. This was always going to happen. 18 million PayPal to WBA now well and truly cancelled. We might have dodged a bullet with this one.

WBA manager (on being asked about Jay and Burnley’s interest) said lots of their players have been coveted by other clubs, Jay was a WBA player and officials of West Brom will let media know straight away if that changes.

Missed one good chance didn’t he? Barnes missed the 2nd when the co commentator said it was Jay. Linked play well, carries it well. Still a good player.

I’d have him, but if it’s a question of Jay or a winger, now that we have Vydra it would have to be a winger for me.
Obviously both would be lovely...

What you are obviously missing, is Jay can play as a winger. What he isn't is a lone striker. It's hardly surprising he looked poor.
Hopefully Moore will see that he can't play the role, sell him, and buy a proper target man with the 18mill.

Think this is Jay's last shot at coming home as with the rate we are improving the squad under Sean Dyche we may have left him behind by next season, unless he can get back to his form of 3-4 seasons ago..

Yeah, the valuations just keep on rising, perhaps we need an outside investor to stay in the EPL and compete longer term....however Burnley will never be the same if that happened...

I agree he's not really a lone striker and that he'd be comfortable on either wing or even sat in the no.10 role. He's worth pursuing for this versatility alone. Brady still isn't fit yet so we only have JBG and Lennon for the wings; Jay would immediately take Lennon's place for me, with Vydra as the no.10 and Barnes as the lone striker. The idea of JBG, Vydra and Jay Rod as the "3" is very exciting!!

It is Danny Fox at Forest.
I never realised he was six foot tall. I like him in then free centre back role.
I also though Darwika had a fair game with some good crosses when he attacked. He's matured.
I thought Forest generally looked good and organised, and the goalscorer Guedioura, who seems to have been around a bit, was impressive. WBA on the other hand were not so impressive although they occasionally showed some quality.
