Are we playing today?
Are we playing today?
And if we are any idea of how we are doing?
Re: Are we playing today?
Losing one nil. It’s not exactly scintillating stuff.
Could be three down.

My dog only responds to commands in Spanish. He's Espanyol.

Has everyone been poor or have any of the younger players looked decent again?

Re: Are we playing today?
They're finishing has been **** poor, best player on the pitch just made it 2-0
Re: Are we playing today?
2 down.
Re: Are we playing today?
Two nil - lovely strike.
McNeil has been OK. Not been as impressed with O’Neill today as I was last week. Wells hasn’t grabbed his chance although in fairness, he’s not exactly had the service.

Walts and Bards are having blinders.Goobs wrote:Has everyone been poor or have any of the younger players looked decent again?
Re: Are we playing today?
Nobody on the pitch anywhere near good enough to considered for the 1st 11.

That won't go down well with the posters who think McNeil is the next Messi.Leisure wrote:Nobody on the pitch anywhere near good enough to considered for the 1st 11.

Are you including Hendrick?Leisure wrote:Nobody on the pitch anywhere near good enough to considered for the 1st 11.
Considering being back in central midfield is his preferred position, he’s not exactly shown it today.

Re: Are we playing today?
proof it where needed, their number 10 cost 7.2 million a month ago. Our scouting is awful (or Dyche doesn't want foreigners)
Re: Are we playing today?
I assume it finished 0-2. What was the crowd ( apart from being bored) Thanks.
Re: Are we playing today?
Not sure but I could have counted them and it would have been more exciting that the football.

Their number 10 was by far and away the best player on the pitch, first touch was fantastic and he maybe misplaced 2or 3 passes, he made the game look easyVegas Claret wrote:proof it where needed, their number 10 cost 7.2 million a month ago. Our scouting is awful (or Dyche doesn't want foreigners)

Re: Are we playing today?
Hendrick should be nowhere near the first team on that performance...I think Dyche is realising that now.

When you put out what is virtually a reserve side don't expect one ore two first-teamers to shine. It doesn't work like that.

Re: Are we playing today?
It was a dull game ...soporific in the sunshine. Hedrick was not great it's true but he and Taylor still stood out in terms of looking like they had more time on the ball than the rest of our team.
McNeil perhaps did also but having seen him 3 or 4 times now he is just so one-footed it makes him extremely predictable when on the ball. He is a smooth runner but not particularly rapid and I'm struggling to "get" him.
Wells and Walters were the definition of ineffectual. O'Neill wasn't as good as last week. Jimmy Dunne definitely looks a prospect.

Re: Are we playing today?
Hendrick always seems to play better when Brady is playing.
Re: Are we playing today?
Training excercise. What do we want players going 100 mph getting injured ? It was always going to be low key at best.
Re: Are we playing today?
I consider myself more of a Hendrick fan than most but he was dog sh1t today. Walters movement was decent in the first half but he seemed to tire in the sunshine. Agree that O'Neill wasn't as good as last week but he was still decent. Don't understand what Wells offers. Koiki is rapid - made a great covering tackle. Also, did you know that Jimmy Dunne is two footed?
