I can confirm that they are indeed a good fit for the middle aged man with a little more timber than one would like.

Re: New away kit
I usually get large but had to get xl....girl in shop said they are a bit tighter fit than the claret home shirt.
PsTried it on when I got home and xl size is perfect if you normally get a large.

Re: New away kit
I would just like to congratulate Burnley FC on the new black and silver away strip it is fantastic....saw loads wearing them on the match today and it does look really class.
I have a friend who is a supporter of them down the M65 and even she said it is the nicest shirt in the premier. So it must be good.lol.

Re: New away kit
Didn’t look as good up close compared to the pictures online. Bit drab looking with the silver being more ‘greyish’

Re: New away kit
This. I went down fully intending to buy one today, but up to it really isn’t nice. I think a white trim would’ve worked. The silver looks grey and gives it an old faded look.burnmark wrote:Didn’t look as good up close compared to the pictures online. Bit drab looking with the silver being more ‘greyish’

Re: New away kit
is it too much for the club to put the pit 2 pit, neck to bottom hem etc sizes online? Never understood the scant information on the club shop website when they are trying to sell something.

Re: New away kit
Daft question, but do we still get discount for having a season ticket - or did they stop that years ago? Not bought a shirt this side of Christmas for ages - usually wait till they’re half price
Re: New away kit
You get 10% back on your card to use off your next purchase or you can build it up with every purchase n use the credit whenever you want

It’s an absolute shocker. Worst football kit since our last black one, and the black and green one before that.
Bloody awful.

Re: New away kit
I like mixing it up, away kits are usually a predictable cycle of white, yellow or blue. I think black makes a change, I think it’s a nice kit too.bobinho wrote:Try “www.absolutelyshitefootballkitthathasfookalltidowithmyfootballclubandhasbeenreleasedpurelyasamarjetingexercise.co.uk

Fair one, it was still definitely closed when I went down. I tried the doors. Not sure what your point is?Leisure wrote:Club shop was still open at 3.30pm after the match today and was doing a roaring trade.

Only online shop I’ve seen where the sizes aren’t accompanied by a fitting guide with the measurements for each size.Alanstevensonsgloves wrote:is it too much for the club to put the pit 2 pit, neck to bottom hem etc sizes online? Everytime I've bought a (home) shirt recently, we've been relegated. Should i risk getting this one?

Without thinking about this too much, but does this mean you have bought 2 home shirts in the last 23 years?box_of_frogs wrote:Everytime I've bought a (home) shirt recently, we've been relegated. Should i risk getting this one?

The key is in the word ‘recently’.2 Bee Holed wrote:Without thinking about this too much, but does this mean you have bought 2 home shirts in the last 23 years?
Re: New away kit
How about “we’re the b@stards in the black” as an away version of “Chim-chimney”
Re: New away kit
First outing at Southampton tomorrow presumably with the third kit socks.

Its mint. And if you buy one size up its a great fit. Unlike most football kits it is loose but still looks and feels good. Looks smart even with jeans etc imo.Steve1956 wrote:Thinking of purchasing the black kit tonight what's the verdict on this shirt?

Re: New away kit
Wife has bought me a large one for our holiday to Greece, which may coincide with another little event!!!! Anyway I'm 5'10, 14.5 stone, I'm pretty stocky though, and it fits well. I don't look as hard in it Ashley Barnes, but it certainly looks decent.
