I read about this 3 days ago, but nothing has materialised.
Re: Jordan Ayew
Anyone else get the feeling our recruitment team are just throwing darts at a list of names now in a blind panic?

Must be close to a Darnbroughesque E Mail ?
Re: Jordan Ayew
Crystal Palace reportedly looking at other targets because Jairo Riedewald is refusing to move to Swansea as part of the deal.
He's reportedly on £50k a week at Swansea so is probably within our wage limits. Would be a great signing for sure.

So if for whatever reason our first choice fails to get home, there should be no second and third to turn to? Ever heard a saying about Happy and some people will never be.jrgbfc wrote:Anyone else get the feeling our recruitment team are just throwing darts at a list of names now in a blind panic?
Re: Jordan Ayew
Slated for no plan b, slated for having a plan b.
The problem comes when plan b gets so near to the window that there is much less time to haggle and conclude a deal, particularly when our preferred approach appears to be a much more cautious.

Re: Jordan Ayew
Jordan Ayew would be a pretty decent signing.
Quick and direct but quite tricky. Has an eye for goal and seems a decent character. Wouldnt be against it. Give us something different.
Wish we wouldve pursued Rondon though.

Then again, Ayew has been relegated in his last two premier league campaigns!

Doesn't strike me as Dyche signing.

Re: Jordan Ayew
I don’t think our ability to recruit has changed much at all. What has changed though, is social media, and Twitter, which has the ability to spread fake news like confetti and get people to fall for it ever time.

Re: Jordan Ayew
I'd rather we chased a forward who can score goals.
This bloke doesn't score many and would be NO improvement on our current goal scorers.
Isn't worth the wages or transfer fee.

We'll be in for about 10 players knowing the yield/success rate is about 20%.

Re: Jordan Ayew
I reckon he’d be available with benteke coming back & wickham recently introduced, I think palace setup didn’t suit him being a small targetman ball played to feet or knockdowns instead of zaha/townsend high crosses.
Re: Jordan Ayew
His best position really is behind the striker. Don’t see the point really since we have Vydra, who Dyche doesn’t bother playing anyway.
