Re: Yannick Bolasie
Would be a great signing. Another quick winger. Is very direct and tricky. Perfect.
With Vydra also means we dont need a centre midfielder as Hendrick can drop into his best position.
Clucas to offer centre midfield and wing options. Or bolasie, vydra and Hendrick?

Re: Yannick Bolasie
IF he joins us then we would have some serious height at set pieces. Tarks, Mee, Gibson, Vokes, Barnes, Wood, Bolasie as options !

But there's no credible link to signing Vydra....

I'd love to see Hendrick playing in the areas Westwood played against Aberdeen. He's very neat and tidy with his passing but just not effective enough playing in the number 10 role. The options we'd have in the front areas would be brilliant with JBG, Lennon, Brady (when fit), Vydra, Bolasie and potentially even Rodriguez. Very exciting if it all comes together.

Are you sure you didn't mishear them Tom?
Fulham are after a player called Boyata which sounds a bit like Bolasie

This one looks a bit risky to me!
Re: Yannick Bolasie
Not for me looked awful last season and bringing him further north will damage what he has left.

Idiotic comment. Very very good defender for us, partnered with dross at Everton.Winstonswhite wrote:Are you surprised? We pulled their pants down for 30 million and he’s been absolutely horrendous for them.

Re: Yannick Bolasie
He was unbelievable for Palace. If he can get back close to that form then he would be a great signing. He started well at Everton priornto injury too didn’t he?
Re: Yannick Bolasie
This would be a fantastic signing but i would be surprised if we get him in
Re: Yannick Bolasie
No pursuing Bolasie at the moment according to Ty Marshall.
Re: Yannick Bolasie
Chris Boden just contradicted that.

Re: Yannick Bolasie
Hard to believe that couple of days ago some fans were slating the club and calling us an embarrassment and now we are on the verge of potentially 4-6 signings which could see us bring in Hart, Gibson, Vydra, Bolasie, Jay Rod & Toure.
That would be probably the best window we have ever had if we pulled all of that off.
Fingers crossed for another couple of exciting days.

More like the majority (aka happy clappers) were just right when they recognised the complexities of the transfer market, said we needed to be patient and should judge when the window closes. Unlike a small handful who were wetting themselves.

Aye you can just imagine the scene with Mike Garlick sat in his office on the phone.Quickenthetempo wrote:Maybe it was the fans moaning that prompted the club?
MG: Hi is that Edmiston?
Other: Yes, Sir, How may I help?
MG: It's Mike Garlick, I'm going to have to cancel that luxury yacht as the natives are getting restless so I'm going to have to use all the dry powder I had saved up on buying some players so that they stop writing mean things about me on their websites.
Other: OK Mr Garlick, no problem, we can totally understand the extreme pressure you must be under from those one or two negative people. I've cancelled your order now.
